A presente reflexão articula uma leitura a partir da perspectiva da psicanálise sobre a dinâmica contemporânea da psiquiatria em hiperdiagnosticar e em hipermedicar. Para tal, discute como modelo teórico a hipermedicalização do transtorno do déficit de atenção e hiperatividade (TDAH), bem como os critérios diagnósticos impostos pelo DSM no que se refere a esse suposto transtorno.

O presente trabalho discute a conjugalidade que opera pelo encontro entre duas pessoas. Considera as transformações sofridas desde a antiguidade até a cena contemporânea, em que a quebra dos ideais de laço conjugal nos coloca frente a impasses clínicos e sociais. Questiona o quanto o laço conjugal ainda está afetado pelo ponto de vista que nasceu na era burguesa e como a perspectiva do discurso do capitalista o coloca submetido aos ditames da sociedade do espetáculo. A busca de amor e de felicidade ganha ênfase nas relações afetivas. Os afetos recebem o estatuto de mercadoria.

The current study discusses the marching conjugality when to people meet each other. It is considered the transformations for which these relationships passed through from antiquity to contemporaneity. It is investigated the rupture of ideal conjugal bonds which points to clinical and social impasses. It is questioned, as well, in which ways the conjugal bond is affected by the context of those who were born in bourgeois era and how the perspective of the capitalist discourse subject them to a spectacle society. In this society, searching for love and happiness is highlighted in emotional relationships and affections are treated as if they were merchandise.

Medianeras: the traumatic element in connections and heartbreaks

O presente trabalho reflete a respeito dos relacionamentos amorosos na contemporaneidade, cujas demandas clínicas passam pela insatisfação da falta de laços afetivos, pelos desenlaces constantes, por relacionamentos marcados pelo gozo. Discute como as conexões virtuais subliminarmente iludem com as inúmeras possibilidades de escolhas, embora na prática, os sujeitos permaneçam seres de falta às voltas com os próprios desamparos. A partir do filme Medianeras: Buenos Aires na era do amor virtual, teceu-se considerações a respeito do desamparo, dos sintomas e das parcerias sintomáticas, que frente às rupturas dificultam saídas sublimatórias possíveis, metaforicamente, dificultando a abertura de ventilação nas medianeras. Trata ainda da articulação dos registros Real, Simbólico e Imaginário, a partir das metáforas das construções de Buenos Aires tratadas no enredo.

This paper aims to reflect on love relationships in the contemporary world, whose clinical demands pass by the dissatisfaction from the lack of emotional bonds, the constant endings, the relationships marked by pleasure, whose disruption produces contradictory effects, resulting in clashes and ruptures. It discusses how virtual connections subliminally deceive by having numerous possibilities of choices, although, in practice, the subjects remain missing beings around their own helplessness. From the movie “Medianeras” (“Medianeras: Buenos Aires na era do amor virtual”), comments were made about the helplessness, the symptoms and symptomatic partnerships, which, in face of the disruptions, hinder possible sublimatory exits, metaphorically, complicating the ventilation openings in the medianeras. It also discusses the articulation of Real, Symbolic and Imaginary registers from the metaphors of the buildings of Buenos Aires treated in the storyline.

The process of cure and its social dimension

A noção de cura nunca está desligada da noção teórica que sustenta sua direção nem das evidentes hegemonias ideológicas nas quais se inscreve sua práxis. Certas patologias dependem do lugar que cada um ocupa na sociedade e na história, e o mesmo ocorre com as medidas de prevenção, o acesso à cura e a existência de recursos (tanto no que diz respeito a conhecimentos teóricos, dispositivos técnicos e práticas médicas disponíveis, quanto no que tange aos aspectos puramente orçamentários) para fazer frente a tais patologias e atenuar seus efeitos sociais e pessoais. A psicanálise procura fazer uma exploração conjunta com o paciente e se aproximar do não sabido por ele que se aloja no inconsciente e sustenta seu sintoma. Procura alcançar a cura não por meio da restituição da situação prévia à emergência dos sintomas, mas pela construção, por parte do analisando, de um novo equilíbrio psíquico sobre a base do material que a análise lhe vai revelando sobre seu próprio desejo inconsciente. O desafio, portanto, é como construir uma clínica que, em vez de se situar numa posição de mera reprodução ideológica, possibilite ao sujeito desenvolver uma instalação geradora de um corpo próprio e, a partir da compreensão de suas dinâmicas e de sua inserção na cultura, conseguir falar e não apenas ser falado, ou seja, resgatar-se da alienação estabelecida pela estrutura de um discurso desdobrado a partir da estrutura social e encontrar um lugar que propicie as condições para construir-se como sujeito.

The notion of cure is never disconnected from the theoretical notion that sustains its direction or from the evident ideological hegemonies in which its praxis is inscribed. Some pathologies depend on the place occupied by each person in society and in history, and the same occurs with the prevention policies, the access to the cure, and the availability of resources (which involves theoretical knowledge, technical devices and medical practices, as well as purely budgetary aspects) to treat such pathologies and to face its social and personal effects. Psychoanalysis intends to work conjointly with the patient in order to explore and approach what is unknown to him/her, that which inhabits the unconscious and sustains his/her symptom. It intends to obtain the cure not by means of restoring the situation previous to the emergency of the symptoms, but through the construction, made by the patient, of a new psychic equilibrium, based upon the material revealed by the analysis about his/her own unconscious desire. The challenge is, thus, how to build a clinic which, instead of standing in a position of mere ideological reproduction, allows the subject to develop an installation able to generate a body of his/her own and, departing from the comprehension of his/her dynamics and his/her insertion in culture, be able to speak and not to be spoken, i.e., to rescue him/herself from the alienation established by the structure of a discourse unfolded from the social structure and to find a place that provides the conditions to build his/herself as a subject.

From autistic isolation towards the extention of the pseudopods towards others in autism

O presente texto analisa os relatos das lutas de autistas para se liberar do isolamento autístico glacial através da análise da autobiografia de Donna Williams, escritora-autista, cuja literatura nos fornece indícios das condições nas quais é possível a saída do fechamento autístico, através das suas diversas estratégias inventadas que, com uma eficácia relativa, permitem ao autista manter seus pseudópodes estendidos em direção aos outros.

This paper analyzes the accouts of the autistics’ struggles to liberate themselves from the glacial autistic isolation through the analysis of the autobiography of the autistic-writer Donna Williams, whose literature give us evidences about the conditions which make leaving the autistic isolation possible, through various invented strategies that, with a relative effectiveness, allow the autistic to keep his pseudopods extended towards others.

The crossroad of adoption: from the precocious abandonment to the last hope

Este trabalho tem como ponto de partida a experiência de adoção internacional tardia de crianças brasileiras por famílias francesas. A criança em lista no Cadastro Nacional de Adoção é um sujeito-objeto em um abrigo público, à espera do quase milagre de ser desejado por alguma família. Tendo como recorte o olhar sobre a criança, busca-se tecer, à luz da psicanálise, algumas considerações sobre o tema complexo do infante vitimado pelo abandono precoce e os seus (des)caminhos até a última esperança, a adoção internacional tardia.

This work focuses in the experience of late foreign adoption of Brazilian children by French families. The child enlisted in the National Adoption Registration is a subject-object in a public shelter, waiting for the miracle of being desired by some family. Casting an eye on the child, under the light of psychoanalysis, this work proposes some considerations on the complex theme of the infant victim of precocious abandonment and his/her path until the last hope that is the late foreign adoption.

The subjects participation in the trauma

O trauma retoma a cena na clínica psicanalítica contemporânea. A partir de um caso clínico busca-se discutir a participação do sujeito naquilo que lhe advém de surpresa, enquanto um “golpe do real”.

Trauma reappears at the centre of contemporary psychoanalytic practice. A clinical case is used to discuss how does the subject participate when something takes him by surprise as a “strike from the real”.

A partir do relato de um caso clínico, que trata da relação intensa de um adolescente com um jogo virtual, o presente artigo traz uma reflexão quanto a alguns aspectos da clínica psicanalítica com adolescentes. Com este propósito, aborda o aporte teórico que dá sustentação a essa clínica, a direção do tratamento com adolescentes e o fim possível de suas análises.

Since a clinical case based on an intense relation with an adolescent and a virtual game, this article has a purpose to bring a thinking in relation to some psychoanalytic clinical aspects with adolescents. With this purpose, it works up to a theoretic contribution and gives support to this clinical, a treatment direction and a possible ending to this analysis.
