Internet and pornography: psychoanalytic notes about erotic daydreams on the digital data worldwide web

O texto propõe trabalhar a relação entre pornografia e a internet. A partir do arcabouço teórico psicanalítico como podemos nos posicionar frente ao vasto material pornográfico? Para tal, investigamos a moral sexual cultural e suas exigências de normatizar a sexualidade, propondo a pornografia como possibilidade de resposta às exigências sociais e como forma de descarga da sexualidade. Discutimos, então, as influências da internet, em que 35% de todos os downloads são de conteúdo pornográfico, sobre o consumidor que possuí acesso privado à pornografia. Defendemos que a rede permite uma interatividade tal que todo consumidor se torna um potencial produtor pornográfico, permitindo novas formas de criação e possibilitando a observação das fantasias que compõem os objetos pornográficos.

The text focuses on the relation between pornography and the Internet. Taking into acount the landmarks of psychoanalytic theory, how can we place ourselves concerning the vast pornographic material currently available? In order to answer this question, the authors have investigated the cultural sexual morality and its requirements of a standardized sexuality, considering pornography as a possible response to such requirements and as form of discharge of the sexuality. We interrogate the influences of a worldwide net in which 35% of all downloads are pornographic, provided that cuostomers have private access to pornography. We claim that the net allows a kind of interactivity which allows new forms of creation, in such a way that each costumer becomes a potential pornographic producer. Such possibility enables the observation fantasies that compose the pornographic objects.

Nijinsky: the psychotic subject in the symbolic register of art

Apresentamos uma reflexão sobre os fenômenos psicóticos e os investimentos pulsionais possíveis na produção de Outra Cena no campo da linguagem, quando a ‘palavra-coisa-ação’ do sujeito psicótico denuncia a falência do simbólico. A partir de O diário de Nijinsky, escrito durante seus surtos psicóticos, é trabalhada a hipótese de que a produção em nome próprio no universo da arte permite a sustentação do sujeito psicótico no registro simbólico e sua permanência na potencialidade sem ser impelido à foraclusão.

In a story rich in characters and events, the text lingers on the figure of a myopic boy, whose short-sight puts him in disadvantage not only within his family, in which his siblings treat him as “the fool” and he is deprived from fatherly name, but also to what concerns the misteries of the world, leading him to think that he knew more than he could bear, and to fear the full and glaring contemplation of the unverse of passions, of sex, pain and death.

Some impasses of the contemporary psychoanalytic clinic and its management by the desire of the analyst

O texto discute alguns dos impasses encontrados na clínica psicanalítica contemporânea, que vão afetar as relações tranferenciais e a condução do tratamento. Como modo de abordar essa clínica, Lacan propõe sua teorização sobre o desejo do analista, permitindo ao analisante repetir e elaborar seus próprios conflitos na transferência. O analista atua como uma função operadora, fazendo semblante de objeto a, empregando um saber entusiasmado: o gaio saber.

This text discusses some of the impasses found in contemporary psychoanalytic clinic, which will affect the transference relations and the conduct of the treatment. As the clinical management mode, Lacan proposes his theory of the desire of the analyst, allowing the analysand to repeat and to work through in the transference. The analyst takes the place of a function operator, making semblance of the object a, using enthusiastic knowledge, the so called gay science, or joyful science.

The universal pleasure of denying and the ironic versant in schizophrenia: a reading based on classic psychiatry

Neste artigo trabalhamos a origem do transtorno ‘gerador’ da esquizofrenia em autores da psiquiatria clássica, articulando o conceito de autismo de Bleuler, de Minkowski com a teoria freudiana e o conceito de discordância de Henri Ey, Chaslin com a teoria lacaniana, com o objetivo de demonstrar que o esquizofrênico com seu “prazer universal de negar” e sua “atitude irônica” testemunha de forma cabal que o “Outro não existe”.

In this article we work the origin of the disorder “generator” of schizophrenia in authors of classical psychiatry, articulating Bleuler's concept of autism, Minkowski with Freudian theory and with Henri Ey's concept of disagreement, Chaslin with Lacanian theory, in order to demonstrate that the schizophrenic subject, with his/her “universal pleasure to deny” and his/her “ironic attitude”, witness adequately enough that the “Other does not exist”.

The triumph of religion and the uncertain survival of psychoanalysis

Este artigo aborda o tema da religião na perspectiva tomada por Lacan nas conferências realizadas na Universidade Católica de Bruxelas e intituladas O triunfo da religião, precedida por Discurso aos católicos. Nessas conferências, de uma forma premonitória, anuncia o triunfo da religião. Procuramos examinar o sentido dessa afirmação buscando seu fundamento na teoria psicanalítica dos discursos e na estrutura do sujeito do inconsciente.

This article approaches the theme of religion in Lacan’s perspective in his conferences made in Catholic University of Brussels, entitled "The Triumph of Religion" and "Speech to Catholics". In those conferences, Lacan, in an premonitory way, announces the triumph of religion. We have looked for the meaning of this assertion, searching for its foundations in the psychoanalytical theory of discourse and in the structure of the subject of the unconscious.

From Freud to Lacan: a reading of stabilization in psychosis

Tendo por horizonte o lugar da estabilização na clínica das psicoses, pretendemos destacar os principais desenvolvimentos realizados por Freud - acerca dos mecanismos psíquicos de base das psicoses - e por Lacan, que empreendeu significativos avanços teóricos e clínicos quanto ao seu tratamento possível pela psicanálise, impulsionados por suas concepções de metáfora paterna e delirante. Consideramos que ambos, cada qual a seu modo, colaboraram para o exame do problema do desencadeamento e da estabilização nas psicoses e, mais fundamentalmente, da psicose com a criação.

Having as context the place of stabilization in the clinic of psychosis, we intend to highlight the main developments made by Freud, concerning the basic psychic mechanisms of psychosis, and by Lacan, who undertook significant theoretical and clinical advances on the treatment that can be made by psychoanalysis, driven by his conceptions of paternal and delirious metaphor. We consider that both, each in his own way, contributed to a better understanding of the problem of triggering and stabilization in psychosis and, more fundamentally, of the role of creation in this process.
