A preliminary issue to collective actions to combat machismo

Partindo da constatação da dificuldade encontrada nas relações amorosas e sexuais entre homens e mulheres na atualidade, algumas reflexões sobre a relação do machismo com a constituição do inconsciente e da sexualidade são apresentadas. Procura-se ir além dos aspectos sociais e culturais do machismo com o objetivo de traçar suas raizes na situação de passividade inerente à sedução originária, tal como descrita por Jean Laplanche. Os três textos de Freud reunidos sob a rubrica "contribuições à psicologia do amor" são tomados como referência, e um texto recente, amplamente veiculado na internet, intitulado "A incrível geração de mulheres que foi criada para ser tudo o que um homem não quer", é analisado criticamente.

Starting from the difficulty found in loving and sexual relations between men and women today, some thoughts on machismo in relation to the constitution of the unconscious and sexuality are presented. An effort is made to go beyond the social and cultural aspects of machismo in order to trace its roots in the passive situation inherent in the original seduction, as described by Jean Laplanche. Freud's writings gathered under "contributions to the psychology of love" are taken as references, and a recent text, widely disseminated on the Internet, entitled "The incredible generation of women that was brought up to be everything a man does not want", is critically analyzed.

The "Joints Efforts of Health" as interdisciplinary action of Primary Health Care

Este trabalho buscou descrever uma das ações interdisciplinares desenvolvidas em um dos grupos tutoriais do Programa de Educação pelo Trabalho para a Saúde (PET-Saúde) da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais: os Mutirões da Saúde. O PET-Saúde pretende fomentar a integração ensino-serviço-comunidade e a educação pelo trabalho em ações de Atenção Primária à Saúde, desenvolvidas em instituições da rede pública vinculadas ao Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Os Mutirões da Saúde foram mobilizações coletivas desenvolvidas pelos membros do PET-Saúde Primeiro de Maio, tendo como foco a Saúde do Idoso e a Saúde da Mulher. Seus objetivos principais foram: divulgar informações de promoção da saúde, promover a adoção de novos hábitos de vida saudável e o exercício de práticas interdisciplinares na atenção primária. A experiência mostrou que os objetivos dos Mutirões da Saúde foram alcançados e que eles se configuraram em uma eficaz ação interdisciplinar de Atenção Primária.

This study aimed to describe one of the interdisciplinary actions developed in one of the tutorial groups of the Labor Education Program for Health (PET-Health) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais: the Joint Efforts of Health. The PET-Health aims to promote the teaching-service-community integration and education by working in Primary Health Care actions, developed in the public institutions linked to the Unified Health System (SUS). The Joint Efforts of Health were collective mobilizations carried out by members of the PET- Saúde Primeiro de Maio (Health - First of May), focusing on the Elderly´s Health and Women's Health. Its main objectives were to disseminate health promotion in formation, promote the adoption of new healthy life styles and exercise of interdisciplinary practices in primary care. Experience has shown that the objectives of the Joint efforts of Health have been achieved and that they were configured in an effective interdisciplinary action of Primary Health Care.

The mental health policy in Minas Gerais: towards consolidation

O artigo que ora apresentamos aborda a política de saúde mental mineira, explorando aspectos históricos, éticos e de atualidade, onde são destacados alguns dos diversos desafios que se colocam para nossa realidade, uma vez considerados os processos de consolidação e construção de dispositivos alternativos aos hospitais psiquiátricos. O objetivo é o de sistematizar a discussão, de modo a sustentar a reflexão sobre o tema da saúde mental. Exploramos, assim, terminologias, atores e instituições, numa perspectiva descritiva e panorâmica acerca do tema, tomando a prática de Belo Horizonte como referência.

This article deals with mental health policy in Minas Gerais, exploring historical ethical and present aspects, highlighting some of the many challenges that arise for our reality, once considering the deinstitutionalization process and construction of alternative devices for psychiatric hospitals. The principal objective is to systematize the discussion in order to sustain the reflection on the theme of mental health. Terminology, actors and institutions are explored in a descriptive and panoramic perspective on the subject, taking that which takes place in the city of Belo Horizonte as a reference.

On the fringes of the city: invisibility paths and exclusion of transvestites on the street

O presente trabalho está inserido na pesquisa Mulheres com trajetórias de rua, desenvolvida pela equipe Polos Pop de Rua do Programa Polos de Cidadania da UFMG, que tem como objetivo analisar trajetórias de vida de mulheres em situação de rua em Belo Horizonte. A história de vida é o procedimento metodológico por meio do qual se foi ao encontro do universo dessas mulheres. O artigo apresentará as análises das histórias de vida de duas mulheres trans com trajetórias de rua, problematizando as seguintes categorias: família, afeto, trabalho e violência institucional. A partir do material obtido, espera-se evidenciar as especificidades do processo de construção identitária dessas mulheres, permeado por uma série de vulnerabilidades que evidenciam uma lógica de invisibilidade, exclusão e pobreza.

This work is inserted in the search Women with street life experience(Street dwelling women), developed by the team Polos Pop de Rua of the Programa Polos de Cidadania of UFMG, which aims to analyze women's life experiences on the streets in Belo Horizonte. The life story is the methodological procedure by which the universe of these women was approached. The present article analyzes the life stories of two transsexual women with street life experience, discussing the following categories: family, affection, work and institutional violence. From the material obtained it is expected to highlight the specifics as to an identity construction process of these women, permeated by a number of vulnerabilities that show a logic of invisibility, exclusion and poverty.

Psychoanalisis can help stop the treadmill of sexual violence?

O artigo procura apresentar a mudança ocorrida, nas duas últimas décadas, no perfil sintomatológico da clientela infantil que tem chegado à clínica social do Departamento de Psicologia da UFMG para tratamento psicoterápico de base analítica. O acompanhamento desses casos, em supervisão, permite-nos observar, com nitidez, a infiltração da violência social na infância: um número expressivo de crianças que frequentam esses tratamentos psicoterápicos foi vítima de traumatismos, seja por ter presenciado o assassinato dos pais, seja por ter sofrido violências físicas. Tal realidade traz, em si inevitavelmente, reverberações para os processos identificatórios em construção - consequência que evidencia o risco do crescimento da violência de modo exponencial, uma vez que a identificação com o agressor é, naturalmente, um dos efeitos dos processos de clivagem necessários para que a criança possa continuar dedicando obediência e amor àqueles adultos violentos, porque, afinal, eles são provedores de seu sustento físico e emocional.

The article focuses on presenting the changes occurred in the last two decades concerning the profile of infant clientele that arrive at the Department of Psychology clinic seeking psychotherapy. The monitoring of these cases, during supervision, allows us to clearly observe the impacts of social violence in childhood: a significant number of children attending these psychotherapeutic treatments were victims of trauma, or because they have witnessed their parents' being murdered, or even have suffered physical violence themselves. This reality inevitably brings with it reverberations for the identification processes in construction - a result that reflects the risk of the growth of violence in an exponential manner, since the identification with the aggressor is of course one of the effects of the cleavage processes that is required so that the child can continue obeying and loving those violent adults who are responsible for their physical and emotional sustenance.

Analysis of implication as a transformation tool in the work process

Relato de experiência que aborda efeitos da análise da implicação de apoiadores matriciais em saúde mental no seu processo de trabalho. A Análise Institucional e a teoria Paidéia foram referenciais teórico-metodológicos. Apresenta-se um analisador das implicações dos profissionais no apoio matricial em saúde mental e clarifica-se como a análise da implicação pode ser um dispositivo de transformação do processo de trabalho. Os apoiadores constataram sua sobreimplicação nos objetivos pedagógicos do apoio, eventualmente em detrimento das necessidades dos usuários e perceberam a necessidade de negociação mais horizontal na condução do trabalho entre as equipes de apoiadores e de saúde da família.

An experience report that approaches the effects of the implication analysis of matrix supporters in mental health in their work process. Institutional Analysis and the Paidéia theory were the theoretical-methodological referentials. An analyzer is presented of the implication of professionals in the matrix support in mental health, and the way the analysis of implication may be a transformation tool in the work process is clarified. The supporters carried out their superimplication in the pedagogical objectives of support, sometimes to the detriment of the users' needs, and noticed the need for more horizontal negotiations in the conduction of the work between the teams of supporters and those of family health.

Mental health and family health strategy: first approaching experience

Relato de experiência que discute a primeira tentativa de aproximação entre equipes de saúde mental e saúde da família em cidade da região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais). Capacitações em saúde mental são usadas como recursos, paralelamente aos processos de mapeamento e confecção de catálogo de recursos socioculturais feitos por agentes comunitários de saúde, acompanhados por estagiários de Psicologia. A experiência lança as bases para a implantação do apoio matricial em saúde mental no município e é criticamente analisada nos dias de hoje quanto a atravessamentos do poder institucional e o limite das capacitações para a transformação das práticas.

Report of an experience discussing the first attempt to bring the mental health and the family health teams close to gether, in a town in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais). Qualifications in mental health are used as resources, parallel to the mapping process and the manufacture of a catalogue of sociocultural resources by community health agents and Psychology trainees. The experience sets the basis for the implementation of Mental Health Matrix Support in the town, and it is critically analyzed nowadays as to the interference of the institutional power and the limit of the qualifications for the transformation of practices.

Psychology facing the challenges of population aging

A transição das taxas de morbimortalidade observadas na população brasileira nas últimas décadas impõe aos pesquisadores, profissionais e gestores no âmbito da saúde coletiva a busca por estratégias que garantam a promoção da saúde e a atenção às especificidades da população mais velha. Neste contexto, preceitos teóricos e práticas baseadas na psicologia do envelhecimento podem contribuir para o enfrentamento dos desafios na atenção em saúde do idoso. Neste estudo foram apresentadas algumas destas contribuições da psicologia bem como algumas das diretrizes mundiais que buscam nortear ações estratégicas voltadas para a promoção do envelhecimento ativo e para a prevenção e tratamento das condições crônicas e degenerativas associadas ao aumento da idade.

The transition of morbimortality rates observed in the Brazilian population in the last decades imposes on researchers, professionals and managers within the public health the search for strategies for ensuring the health promotion and attention to the specificities of the older population. In this context, theoretical precepts and practices based on the psychology of aging can contribute to tackle the challenges in health care of the elderly. In this study we presented some of these contributions from psychology as well as some of the world policies that seek to guide strategic actions aimed at promoting active aging and preventing and treating chronic and degenerative conditions associated with increasing age.

Psychology of disaster

O objetivo deste trabalho foi traçar o panorama da produção em português de trabalhos acadêmicos sobre a Psicologia das Emergências. Realizou-se inicialmente uma revisão sistemática sobre o tema contemplando as bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, SciELO e PsycINFO com o descritor "psicologia das emergências", sendo encontrado 1 artigo. A pesquisa incluiu então a busca do Google Acadêmico, sendo encontrados 22 trabalhos em português. Realizou-se a seguir uma revisão compreensiva sobre os trabalhos e linhas de pesquisa sobre o tema. Os resultados indicam que, embora a produção sobre o tema seja incipiente na língua portuguesa, encontra interesse na academia, pois 15 dos 22 trabalhos são teses dissertações ou monografias de especialização. Conclui-se pela necessidade de maiores estudos no campo da Psicologia das Emergências no Brasil.

The objective of this study was to outline the production of academic papers in Portuguese on Psychology of Emergencies. A systematic review was initially conducted on the subject contemplating the LILACS , MEDLINE , SciELO and PsycINFO data bases with the descriptor "psychology of emergency", with 1 article being found. The survey then included a Google academic search and found 22 papers in Portuguese. A comprehensive review of the work and research lines on the subject were then carried out. The results indicate that while production on the subject is incipient in Portuguese, it remains an interesting field in the academy as 15 of the 22 works found are theses or post graduation papers. The results confirmed the need for further studies in the field of psychology of emergency in Brazil.
