A angústia nos trabalhos de Freud durante a década de 1890

Resumo Este artigo objetiva delinear os principais elementos da racionalidade clínica que Freud elaborou durante a década de 1890 para teorizar sobre a angústia a partir da psicanálise durante o século XX. Será demonstrado que a soberania da vida afetiva sobre as representações psíquicas e a noção de defesa são elementos não apenas necessários para a abordagem freudiana sobre a angústia, mas também claramente reabilitados por Freud na solidificação da teoria psicanalítica sobre a angústia.

Abstract The present chapter aims to delineate the main elements of the clinical rationality that Freud elaborated during the 1890s to later theorize on anxiety according to psychoanalysis in the twentieth century. The chapter will demonstrate that the dominance of the affective life over the psychic representations and the notion of defense are not only indispensable elements to the Freudian approach on anxiety but they were also clearly rehabilitated by Freud in the psychoanalytic theory on anxiety.

Resumo A partir do tema da escolha inconsciente postulada pela psicanálise, o autor assinala que no sistema inconsciente temos uma ponte determinada pelo Outro e uma ponte indeterminada. Aplica no nível cultural essa questão que é elaborada no subjetivo. Assim, as instituições carregariam em si também uma herança arcaica. Essa herança no âmbito do Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais é colocada nas escolas do pensamento e nas circunstâncias históricas.

Abstract The author, commencing with the concept of unconscious choice, which is postulated by psychoanalysis, indicates that part of the unconscious system is determined by the Other, while another part is undetermined. This question, which is elaborated at the subjective level, is also applied to the cultural level. In this manner, institutions also carry an archaic inheritance in their within. In the Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais, this inheritance is present at the level of the schools of thought and, also, at the level of historical circumstances.

Origens do Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais

Resumo O autor assinala como a herança arcaica, recebida determina os primórdios e os desenvolvimentos subsequentes que vão dando forma ao Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais. Marca o caminho percorrido desde a Psicologia profunda até a psicanálise, bem como a evolução do pensamento de Igor Caruso. A criação da CADE e o movimento político de 1983. IPA ou escola de Lacan? Desenvolvimentos posteriores até os dias de hoje.

Abstract The author calls attention to how the ancient inheritance, received, determines the beginnings and the subsequent developments that sculpted the Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais. The course travelled, since the era of Psicologia Profunda (Deep Psychology) to psychoanalysis, as well as Igor Caruso’s evolution of thought, are considered. CADE’s constitution and the political movement of 1983 are mentioned alongside crucial questions, such as IPA or Lacanian Schooling. The author’s trail brings to our contemporary days.

Aspectos de descontinuidades em Transitoriedade e o bloco mágico

Resumo Neste artigo verifica-se no recorte sobre dois textos freudianos o aspecto do modo de trabalho descontínuo do aparelho psíquico. Note-se que ao sistema confere uma radical particularidade. Perder um objeto, descontinuar um amor, assistir ao desvanecer da beleza das coisas, sobreviver entre os mortos na guerra. Em Transitoriedade Freud afastou a exigência de eternidade, pois o transitório é também descontínuo. Em Nota sobre o bloco mágico, demonstrou o método de funcionamento descontínuo do aparelho psíquico e um conceito de tempo. Em outras palavras, justamente a queda dos objetos sob a interrupção abrupta dos sentidos. No processo de análise, na arte e no poema, há um tempo em que até então se fazia elevação contínua; de repente, a tendência se inverte e se mostra em queda.

Abstract In this article, the excerpt of two Freudian texts highlights the aspect of the discontinuous way of working of the psychic apparatus. It should be noted that the system gives a radical particularity. Losing an object, discontinuing a love, watching the beauty of things fade, surviving among the dead in war, in “On Transience” Freud, removed the demand for eternity, as the transitory is also discontinuous. In “A Note Upon the ‘Mystic Writing-Pad’”, Freud demonstrated the method of discontinuous functioning of the psychic apparatus and a concept of time. In other words, precisely the fall of objects under the abrupt interruption of the senses. In a process of analysis, in art, and in poems, there is a time when what until then was a continuous rise, suddenly reverses the trend, and appears to be falling.

Limites da sublimação e objeto transicional

Resumo O objetivo desta comunicação é desenvolver reflexões sobre a relação entre escrita, sublimação e objeto transicional. Tomamos como suporte o artigo Criatividade e sublimação em psicanálise, de Joel Birman (2008), que aponta semelhanças e diferenças entre o conceito de objeto transicional, de Winnicott, e o objeto de sublimação em alguns textos de Freud. A partir daí, pretendemos levantar a hipótese de que o conceito de objeto transicional não se limitaria à experiência de ilusão/desilusão de bebês, como propõe o psicanalista inglês. Esse objeto, em nosso entender, poderia ser estendido ao ato de escrever e de ler, na medida em que o escritor lança mão desse “brinquedo de palavras”, estabelecendo uma transição entre sua subjetividade e a realidade externa no processo de criação literária. Nesse sentido, para alguns teóricos, a escrita serviria como um instrumento bem-sucedido no processo de sublimação. No entanto, para outros, isso nem sempre ocorre. Apoiados em Carvalho (2006), que demonstra que o ato de escrever poderia levar à autodestruição do escritor, parece-nos que alguns autores não conseguiriam manter a elasticidade do objeto transicional, o texto, não estabelecendo um espaço intermediário entre a subjetividade e a realidade externa, entre a intenção do que querem dizer e os limites da própria linguagem no processo de representação. Tornam-se assim um resto. O jogo da escrita fica paralisado, havendo a possibilidade de que o criador “saia de cena”.

Abstract The main purpose of this paper’s reflection written text, sublimation, and transitional objects are connected. This paper took as a basis the article “Creativity and Sublimation in Psychoanalysis” by Joel Birman (2008), which draws attention to the similarities and differences between Winnicott’s concept of transitional object and Freud’s concept of sublimation in some of his texts. Based on this, we propose the hypothesis that the concept of transitional object goes far beyond the occurrence of illusion/disillusion in infants, as suggested by the English psychoanalyst. Our opinion is that this object could be extended to the actions of writing and reading on the grounds that the writer uses this “word play” to denote the transition from its subjectivity to the external reality in the process of literary creation. In this sense, some theorists advocate that writing can be regarded as a successful tool in the process of sublimation. For other scholars, however, this is not always the case. It seems that, supported by Carvalho (2006), who demonstrates that the act of writing could lead to the self-destruction of the writer, some authors would find themselves unable to retain the elasticity of the transitional object, once the text would fail to provide a space of transition between subjectivity and external reality, between the intention behind what they want to express and the limits of language itself in the process of representation. Amor, literatura e suas vicissitudes

Resumo O artigo propõe revisitar o conceito de amor para a psicanálise e seu encontro com a literatura, bem como o conceito de transferência enquanto elemento fundamental de uma análise. O texto reflete sobre o papel da literatura enquanto forma de leitura e invenção diante do real do desencontro amoroso.

Abstract The article proposes revisiting the concept of love for psychoanalysis and its encounter with literature, as well as the concept of transference as a fundamental element of an analysis. The text reflects on the role of literature as a form of reading and invention in the face of the reality of love’s disagreement.

O divã de Itapuã: notas sobre o gaio saber em psicanálise e na canção brasileira

Resumo Neste artigo, comento a oposição lacaniana entre o afeto da tristeza e o gaio saber, a partir de uma passagem de Televisão em que Lacan elabora uma breve teoria dos afetos. O percurso do comentário compreende os seguintes passos: uma revisão dos principais aspectos em jogo nessa breve teoria dos afetos exposta em Televisão; uma discussão do trecho em que, nesse mesmo contexto, o gaio saber é mencionado por Lacan; um ensaio de aproximação entre essa versão lacaniana do gaio saber e a “gaia ciência brasileira” a que se refere José Miguel Wisnik em seu ensaio A gaia ciência: literatura e música popular no Brasil.

Abstract In this article, I make comments on the Lacanian opposition between the affect of sadness and gai savoir, the joyous knowledge, based on a passage of Television in which Lacan develops his brief theory of affects. The route of this commentary comprises the following steps: a revision of the main aspects at stake in this brief theory of affects exposed in Television; a discussion of the sketch in which, in this same context, gai savoir is mentioned by Lacan; an intent to build bridges between this Lacanian version of gai savoir and the Brazilian joyous knowledge mentioned by José Miguel Wisnik in his essay The joyous knowledge: literature and popular music in Brazil.

Narcisismo na cultura: o ideal do eu

Resumo A autora apresenta uma abordagem do narcisismo e do ideal do eu desde o seu conceito inicial até suas manifestações na cultura contemporânea. Mostra sua trajetória ao longo da obra freudiana e as contribuições de Lacan ao tema. Analisa brevemente a presença do narcisismo e dos ideais do eu nos tempos atuais, mostrando os impactos no sujeito através das tecnologias da informação, do consumismo exagerado, da corrupção política, dos racismos e da intolerância às diferenças sexuais. Termina apontando a importância dos movimentos populares, propiciados pela própria cultura, para o enfrentamento desses conflitos.

Abstract The author presents an approach to narcissism and the ego ideal, from its initial concept to its manifestations in contemporary culture. It shows his trajectory throughout Freud’s work and Lacan’s contributions to the theme. She briefly analyzes the presence of narcissism and self-ideals in current times, showing the impacts on today’s subject, through computer technologies, exaggerated consumerism, political corruption, racism and intolerance of sexual differences. She ends by pointing out the importance of popular movements, fostered by culture itself, in facing these conflicts.

A expressão extraverbal na sociedade da informação: algumas faces do sintoma pós-moderno com base na onipotência infantil

Resumo Neste ensaio é abordada a expressão do sintoma na sociedade pós-moderna por meio da leitura do sintoma e dos estágios da onipotência infantil. No início é esclarecida a relação entre sintoma e expressão, considerando-se a segunda como parte observável da primeira e via de vazão. Na sequência são abordadas especificidades do universo virtual e suas relações com o sintoma psicanalítico. Ao final, considerações sobre a necessidade da emancipação frente ao potencial alienante dos sintomas.

Abstract In this essay, the expression of the symptom in postmodern society is approached through the reading of the symptom through the stages of infantile omnipotence. At first, the relationship between symptom and expression is clarified, considering the second as an observable part of the first and a flow path. In sequence, specificities of the virtual universe and its relations with the psychoanalytic symptom are addressed. At the end, considerations on the need for emancipation in view of the alienating potential of symptoms.

A transferência e suas implicações na escuta analítica

Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho é trazer uma reflexão sobre a importância da transferência na escuta psicanalítica. O amor transferencial é o grande passo para a ressignificação e a retificação subjetiva. Baseados em vinhetas clínicas, os autores mostram os entrelaçamentos entre processos transferenciais e a direção do tratamento.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to reflect on the importance of transference in psychoanalytic listening. Transferential love is the major step towards re-signification and subjective rectification. Based on clinical vignettes, the authors show the intertwining between transferential processes and the direction of treatment.

Consisto, logo existo: o imaginário na neurose obsessiva e suas repercussões especulares em torno do duplo

Resumo Este trabalho explora a consistência imaginária do obsessivo em relação à sua constituição psíquica, utilizando a teoria do estádio do espelho, de Lacan, para pensar a dinâmica da imagem e sua relação com a posição do sujeito em relação ao Outro. O estudo revela como o obsessivo se sustenta no narcisismo e na agressividade. A estratégia usada pelo obsessivo para lidar com o imaginário requer uma análise cuidadosa e levanta a questão central da pesquisa: a hipótese de que o imaginário duplica para dar consistência de unidade ao obsessivo em relação a ser o falo imaginário para a mãe.

Abstract This work explores the imaginary consistency of the obsessive in relation to their psychic constitution, using Lacan’s theory of the mirror stage to consider the dynamics of the image and its relation to the subject’s position in relation to the Other. The study reveals how the obsessive sustains themselves through narcissism and aggressiveness. The strategy used by the obsessive to deal with the imaginary requires careful analysis and raises the central question of the research: the hypothesis that the imaginary duplicates to give a consistency of unity to the obsessive in relation to being the imaginary phallus for the mother.

Desmontagem dos ideais na psicanálise

Resumo Através de um caso clínico, a autora analisa o árduo trabalho de desmontagem dos ideais superegoicos impostos pelos pais às crianças. A proposta da psicanálise é a escuta do um a um em sua singularidade, abrindo espaço para novas construções fantasmáticas para que possam emergir daí o sujeito e seu desejo. Comparando com as próprias instituições psicanalíticas, corre-se o risco de cair num ideário perigoso de certo e errado, com graves consequências para os psicanalistas em geral e aqueles em formação em particular.

Abstract Through a clinical case, the author analyses the arduous work of dismantling the superego ideals imposed by parents on children. The proposal of psychoanalysis is to listen to one by one person, in their singularity, opening space for new phantasmatic constructions, so that the subject and his desire can emerge. Comparing it with psychoanalytic institutions themselves, there is a risk of falling into a dangerous idea of right and wrong with serious consequences for analysts in general, and those in training in particular.
