The imagistic discourse of Glauco Rodrigues

Partindo do pressuposto de que as composições de Glauco Rodrigues portam, em seu discurso, um elo entre o olhar e o pensamento, este ensaio visa analisar as falas que se evolam de sua arte. Para tanto, empregamos o método interpretativo, tendo por base o intrínseco textual, aqui tomado como o feixe de mensagens construídas pelo pictórico. O estranhamento, presente na obra do artista plástico, vai também em direção à intertextualidade e à intratextualidade - diálogos com a tradição e com a sua própria tessitura discursiva -, numa síntese eu e mundo, numa dissolução de fronteiras.

On the assumption that the compositions of Glauco Rodrigues carry, in his discourse, a link between the eye and the thought, this essay aims to analyze the lines that exhale of his art. To this end, we employ the interpretive method, based on the intrinsic verbatim, here taken as the beam of messages built by the pictorial. The strangeness, present in the work of the artist, goes toward the intertextuality and intratextuality - dialogues with the tradition and with its own discursive texture - in a self-world synthesis, a dissolution of frontiers.

Poetry, Love and the Failure of the Unconscious

Na Índia do século XI já se afirmava que a poesia opera sobre nós como a pessoa amada, capaz de nos transportar para além de nós mesmos, para além do mundo quotidiano. Ouve-se o eco dessa afirmação nos trabalhos de Jacques Lacan, em que ele compreende a poesia como subversão da ordem cristalizada na língua e intervenção na ordem do semblante. Sobretudo no Seminário 24 (L'insu..., 1976-77), associada ao amor cortês, a poesia oferecerá a Lacan a oportunidade de teorizar sobre o amor como tal, a partir da ideia de que ele seria precisamente o fracasso do inconsciente.

In the XIth century India it was already stated that poetry works on us like a beloved, capable of transporting us beyond ourselves, beyond everyday world. One has heard the eco of this statement in Jacques Lacan's works, where he understands poetry as subversion of the crystallized order in language, as intervention on the order of the semblant. Especially in Seminar 24 (L 'insu..., 1976-77), associated to courtly love, poetry will offer him the opportunity to theorize about love itself, based on the idea that it is precisely the failure of the unconscious.

Body, transmission and civilizing process: Sigmund Freud and Norbert Elias

Este artigo pretende estabelecer um diálogo entre a psicanálise de Sigmund Freud e a sociologia de Norbert Elias, tendo como ponto de aproximação a hipótese a perda pulsional como operador que articula a relação entre sujeito e cultura. Para Elias, o processo civilizador transmite ao indivíduo normas e regras sociais na forma de autorregulação e autocontrole dos objetos e das funções corporais. Em Freud, a imbricação do sujeito com a cultura é uma relação operada pelo corpo. A pulsão dá as condições de coletivização do sujeito.

This paper aims to provide a dialogue between Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis and Norbert Elias's sociology. The common point is the hypothesis of drive loss as an operator that articulates the relationship between subject and culture. For Elias, the civilizing process transmits to individual social norms and rules in the form of self-regulation and self-control of objects and bodily functions. For Freud, the body operates the relationship between subject and culture. The drive gives to subject the conditions of collectivization.

Implementation of a psychoanalytical device for intervention in a psychiatric institution

Este artículo trata sobre las vicisitudes propias de dos experiencias clínicas, realizadas en un hospital psiquiátrico - simultáneas pero independientes una de la otra - pensadas a partir de la implementación de dispositivos de intervención fundamentados en el psicoanálisis: una de las experiencias consistió en la atención a pacientes en seguimiento posterior a hospitalización y diagnosticados con esquizofrenia, enfatizando su condición singular; y en la otra, a mujeres hospitalizadas por depresión. La finalidad de este texto es enfatizar las posibilidades del trabajo clínico desde una perspectiva psicoanalítica en un contexto hospitalario y sobre todo, resaltar la importancia que tiene la atención a la singularidad de los pacientes que acuden a los servicios de salud en México, especialmente los servicios de atención a la salud mental.

This article talks about the own vicissitudes of two clinical experiences, realized in a psychiatric hospital - simultaneous but independent one of the other - thought from the implementation of intervention devices based on psychoanalysis: one of the experiences consisted in the attention to post hospitalized patients with schizophrenia diagnosis, emphasizing its singular condition; and in the other, to women hospitalized by depression. The main purpose, is to emphasize the possibilities of the clinical work from a psychoanalytic perspective in a health center context, and, over all, to emphasize the importance of the attention to the singularity have to the patients who go to the services of health in Mexico.

Este artigo trata sobre as vicissitudes próprias de duas experiências clínicas realizadas em um hospital psiquiátrico - simultâneas, mas independentes uma da outra - pensadas a partir da implementação de dispositivos de intervenção fundamentados na psicanálise: uma das experiências consistiu na atenção a pacientes em seguimento posterior à hospitalização e diagnosticados com esquizofrenia e na outra a mulheres hospitalizadas por depressão. A finalidade deste trabalho é enfatizar as possibilidades do trabalho clínico desde uma perspectiva psicanalítica em um contexto hospitalar e, sobretudo, ressaltar a importância que possui a atenção à singularidade dos pacientes que chegam aos serviços de saúde no México, especialmente aos serviços de atenção à saúde mental.

The act of thinking and the construction of memory in prison: creative strategies of resistance

Este artigo coloca em questão o ato de pensar e a construção da memória na prisão, do ponto de vista do preso, baseado em uma práxis psicológica no sistema prisional/RJ. As reflexões partem de fragmentos de discursos colhidos nos atendimentos, nas atividades, na relação com os presos e em publicações. O que está em foco é o sujeito em condição de confinamento, tendo ou não cometido um crime e a potência criativa que surge nessa instituição, independente de qualquer juízo moral. A prisão produz efeitos na subjetividade, podendo levar ao aniquilamento. Porém, frente a essa violência o preso pode, numa produção de subjetivação, inventar formas de ser, de sentir, de estar no mundo. Podemos entender o ato de pensar e a construção da memória nessa circunstância adversa de confinamento e opressão como estratégias de resistência ao efeito totalizante do cárcere.

This article brings into question the act of thinking and the construction of memory as a creation in prison, from the inmate's perspective, based in a psychological practice in the prison system of Rio de Janeiro. The reflections start from fragments of speech collected at the appointments, in the activities and the relationship with the prisoners and from publications. What is in focus is the subject in condition of confinement, having or not committed a crime and the creative strenght that arises in this institution, regardless of any moral judgement. The prison produces effects in the subjectivity, which may lead to its annihilation. However, by facing this violence the inmate can, in a subjectivation production, create forms of being, of feeling and of being in the world. We can understand the act of thinking and the construction of memory in this adverse circumstance of confinement and oppression as strategies of resistance to the totalizing effect of imprisonment.

The Misery of Psychopathology

O campo do discurso sobre o sofrimento psíquico, a Psicopatologia, possui uma longa e rica tradição; contudo, num contexto como o nosso, no qual os saberes se encontram altamente especializados, muitos parecem optar por ignorar essa tradição, recolhendo-se em grupos fechados. Se o sectarismo pode favorecer uma segurança intelectual quanto aos próprios fundamentos, por outro lado, torna-se uma postura miserável justamente por desconsiderar outros pontos de vista. Considerando a diferença entre rigor e rigidez, buscou-se aqui pensar a influência da Antropologia Fundamental para a Psicopatologia Fundamental. Esta última se configura como um ideal de comunicação que considera a diversidade de perspectivas.

The discourse about mental suffering, Psychopathology, has a long and rich tradition. However, many professionals ignore this tradition especially in our context of widespread specialization, and choose to remain in closed groups. On the one hand, sectarism can provide an intellectual safety regarding the very background. On the other hand this becomes a poor stance because it ignores other points of view. We emphasize the difference between precision and rigidity, and we evaluated the influence of Fundamental Anthropology on Fundamental Psychopathology. The latter is seeing as an ideal of communication that takes diversity of perspectives into consideration.

The music of dreams

O trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre a presença dos conceitos da estética no texto "A Interpretação dos Sonhos" de Sigmund Freud, bem como sobre as relações entre a representação onírica e a arte. O autor tece, ainda, algumas conjecturas sobre a ausência e a presença de uma reflexão sobre a música nas representações oníricas.

The paper presents a study on the presence of the aesthetic concepts in the text "The Interpretation of Dreams" by Sigmund Freud , as well as on relations between the dreamrepresentation and art. The author also makes some assumptions about the absence and the presence of a reflection on the music in dreamlike representations.

Excessive mother, lesser father: a psychoanalitic reading of the movies poziţia copilului - child's pose

Este artigo apresenta uma leitura do filme "Instinto Materno", tomado como ilustração das consequências de relações familiares em que o enfraquecimento da função paterna e a persistência de uma superproteção relacionada com a "função materna" atravessam o processo de amadurecimento das crianças e jovens, criando condições que dificultam ou impedem a construção de uma estrutura de valores e da autonomia necessária para fazer escolhas saudáveis nos diferentes momentos da vida. O conceito de "mãe suficientemente boa", desenvolvido por Winnicott ao longo de sua obra (1975), em diálogo com o conceito freudiano de narcisismo, é tomado como fio condutor deste percurso.

This article presents a reading of the movies "Child's Pose" taken as an illustration of those family relations where the weakening of the father function and the persistence of an over protection related to the "mother function" goes through the maturing process of children and youngsters, thus creating conditions that difficult or block the construction of a structure of values and autonomy needed to make healthy choices throughout different times of life. The concept of "good enough mother", developed by Winnicott along his work (1975) in a dialog with the Freudian concept of narcissism, is seized as the conducting wire of this trajectory.

Do Supereu ao ideal do eu: para um novo modelo de autodesenvolvimento

Para construir um novo modelo do potencial humano em uma cultura global preocupada com os limites sociais e psicológicos, os pesquisadores do desenvolvimento humano devem abordar a promessa do sujeito humano pós-neoliberal. Um recurso crucial são os primeiros escritos psicanalíticos de Freud, especificamente seu conceito de ideal do eu. Apesar de sua revisão posterior do ideal do eu como uma estrutura interna mais preocupada com a deferência à autoridade e às normas sociais (o supereu), o ideal do eu oferece um poderoso construto teórico para pensar possibilidades humanas emergentes. Utilizando teorias de Rousseau, Kohut, Jacobsen, Fromm, Marcuse e Kohlberg, este ensaio explora as implicações positivas do ideal do eu, e oferece um modelo conceitual de um ideal do eu mais plenamente evoluído para o mundo contemporâneo.

To construct a new model of human possibility in a global culture preoccupied by social and psychological limits, the researchers of human development must address the promise of the post-neoliberal human subject. A crucial resource is Freud's earlier psychoanalytic and psychodynamic writings, specifically his concept of the ego ideal, the subject's vision from experiences and dreams of its developing possibilities and capacities. Despite his later revision of the ego ideal as an internal structure more concerned with deference to authority and social norms (the super ego), the ego ideal offers a powerful theoretical and developmental construct for imagining emergent human capacities and capabilities. Utilizing theories of Rousseau, Kohut, Jacobsen, Fromm, Marcuse, and Kohlberg, this essay explores the positive implications of the ego ideal and offers a conceptual model of a more fully evolved ego ideal for the contemporary world.

Healthy Brasileirinhos and Brazileirinhas Strategy (EBBS): forming and transforming in the field of Public Health

A Estratégia Brasileirinhas e Brasileirinhos Saudáveis (EBBS) é uma iniciativa estabelecida entre a Fundação Oswaldo Cruz - Instituto Nacional de Saúde da Mulher, da Criança e do Adolescente Fernandes Figueira (Fiocruz/IFF) e o Ministério da Saúde - Coordenação Geral de Saúde da Criança e Aleitamento Materno (MS/CGSCAM), iniciada em 2007. Desenvolvido o projeto piloto em seis capitais brasileiras, inicia-se uma segunda fase com o objetivo de fortalecer o pacto interfederativo de implantação da Política Nacional de Atenção Integral à Saúde da Criança (PNAISC).

The strategy denominated Healthy Brasileirinhas and Brasileirinhos (EBBS) is an initiative established between the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (National Institute of Health of Women, Children and Teenager Fernandes Figueira (IFF/Fiocruz) and the Ministry of Health (General coordination of child health and breastfeeding (MS/CGSCAM)), was initiated in 2007. While the pilot project was developed in six Brazilian cities, a second phase begins with the objective of strengthening the inter-federative pact of the implementation of the National Policy of Integral Attention to Child Health (PNAISC).
