A epopeia de herói ou profeta enviado pelos deuses a um mortal comum que exerce sua profissão: a religião e a religiosidade que permeia as práticas psicanalíticas

Baseado em sua experiência clínica, o autor discorre sobre o entranhamento de ideário moral-religioso na prática psicanalítica, da qual ele não deveria fazer parte, sendo ela uma atividade investigativa científica. Observa a postura profissional e teórica de vários psicanalistas que confundem sua prática com a de uma criatura superior que supostamente se percebe ou se apresenta como estando acima das questões humanas corriqueiras, da carnalidade sensual, das mesquinharias e limitações humanas. Assim, tendem a ver seus analisandos como compêndios de psicopatologia. Em questões relacionadas à sexualidade não observam a diversidade de possibilidades humanas neste campo e dessa forma não distinguem teoria científica e prática clínica de uma atividade sacerdotal, "correcional" e, amiúde, hipócrita. Tal como profetas ou enviados do Olimpo, observam do alto e criticam com desdém os mortais inferiores. Uma efetiva e profunda análise pessoal do postulante a analista é evidenciada como fator decisivo para que ele faça sua passagem de arauto dos deuses para o plano terrestre dos mortais comuns. Nela, terá de percorrer todas as turbulências desse Mediterrâneo, tal como Odisseu e Eneias, que precisaram até entrar e sair do Hades para chegarem à terra que lhes era própria.

Based on his clinical experience, the author discusses the entrenchment of moral-religious ideas in psychoanalytic practice, of which he should not be a part, since it is a scientific investigative activity. He observes the professional and theoretical posture of several psychoanalysts who confuse their practice with that of a superior creature who supposedly perceives himself or presents himself as being above common human issues, sensual carnality, pettiness and human limitations. Thus, they tend to view their analysands as psychopathology textbooks. In matters related to sexuality, they do not observe the diversity of human possibilities in this field and thus do not distinguish scientific theory and clinical practice from a priestly, "correctional" and, often, hypocritical activity. Just as prophets or envoys from Olympus watch from above and criticize lesser mortals with disdain. An effective and deep personal analysis from the postulant to the analyst is evidenced as a decisive factor for him to make his passage from the herald of the gods to the earth plane of ordinary mortals. In it, he will have to go through all the turbulences of that Mediterranean, like Odysseus and Aeneas, who even needed to enter and leave Hades to reach the land that was their own.

Escutar odisseias

Este texto pretende fomentar a reflexão sobre a premência da criação de discursos e significados sobre a vida presente, passada e futura que permeia o viver dos seres humanos. Há marcos nesta produção que são associados metaforicamente a passagens da Odisseia. As metáforas são também veículos para pensar criticamente sobre o poder da significação na escuta de um interlocutor requisitado para isso, que pode ser um psicanalista. Escutar quase sempre implica interpretar. Há sempre armadilhas nesse incessante processo. A balização promovida pela emergência da Verdade, enquanto o limite do saber é posto acima do que pode ser verdadeiro, propicia a produção de novas, e potencialmente mais ricas, narrativas do sujeito sobre si mesmo e sobre o outro, o que pode ser um ato de libertação.

This text intends to encourage reflection on the urgency of creating discourses and meanings about the present, past and future life that permeates the life of human beings. There are milestones in this production that are here metaphorically associated with passages from the Odyssey. Metaphors are also vehicles for thinking critically about the power of meaning in listening to an interlocutor requested for this, who may be a psychoanalyst. Listening almost always implies interpreting. There are always pitfalls in this ceaseless process. The demarcation promoted by the emergence of Truth, while the limit of knowledge is placed above what can be true, provides the production of new and potentially richer narratives of the subject about himself and about the other, which can be an act of liberation.

A cena analítica: entre duas mortes

O presente artigo visa suscitar uma reflexão a respeito da clínica psicanalítica na atualidade, tendo como fonte de inspiração duas categorias literárias, entre outras, formuladas por Aristóteles na Poética: o drama e a tragédia. As considerações desenvolvidas ao longo do texto partem do princípio de que aquele que procura uma análise possui uma história que anseia comunicar a um ouvinte, seja ela breve, extensa, ou mesmo quase silenciosa. A posição do sujeito que fala bem como a daquele que escuta são, no entender da articulação aqui proposta, o ponto de partida para o manejo da relação psicanalista e analisando no sentido de um trabalho analítico profícuo. O recurso à arte literária permite ilustrar de modo elegante os meandros e as peculiaridades presentes na criação do mito pessoal de cada sujeito.

The present article aims to raise a reflection about the psychoanalytic clinic today, having as inspiration source two literary categories, among others, formulated by Aristotle in his Poetic: drama and tragedy. The considerations developed throughout the text assume that the one who seeks for an analysis has a history that he longs to communicate to a listener, briefly, extensively, or even almost silently. The position of the subject who speaks as well as that of the listener are, in the understanding of the articulation proposed here, the starting point for the management of the psychoanalyst relationship and analyzing in the sense of a fruitful analytical work. The use of literary art allows to exemplify, elegantly, the intricacies and peculiarities present in the creation of the personal myth of each subject.

Passar das sereias ao canto: da voz primordial à assunção do sujeito

O presente artigo tematiza a constituição psíquica mediante a apresentação de um percurso necessário à assunção do sujeito na linguagem. Assim, visa-se demonstrar como o caminho para a subjetivação é atravessado pelos encontros, os impasses e as saídas na relação com a voz, o canto originário e o ritmo. Para isso, recorre-se, inicialmente, a uma reflexão em torno de escolhidas versões da passagem pelo canto das sereias na literatura e na música brasileira para dialogar com os desafios das inicialidades da vida psíquica para a psicanálise. Trata-se, em suma, de um trabalho que apresenta uma camada de nossas pesquisas em torno da metapsicologia da voz e alça, ao final, a aproximação entre os tempos do irresistível na assunção do sujeito e na música.

This article focuses on the psychic constitution by presenting a necessary path for the subject to assume language. Thus, it aims to demonstrate how the subjectivity path is crossed by encounters, deadlocks and exits in the relationship with the voice, the original singing and the rhythm. To do this, we initially resort to a reflection around chosen versions of the passage through the siren song in Brazilian literature and music to dialogue with the challenges of the initials of psychic life for psychoanalysis. In short, it is a work that presents a layer of our research around the metapsychology of the voice and handles, at the end, the approximation between the times of the irresistible in the assumption of the subject and in the music.

O auto da palavra

Neste trabalho, proponho um diálogo entre João Cabral, através de sua obra Morte e vida Severina (1954-1955), e a psicanálise, ambos no leito da semiótica e de Cândido Portinari. Considerarei, para este fim, a arte como leito simbólico de experiências emocionais vivenciadas; uma experiência estética em que a escrita e a pintura requererão do sujeito criativo um esvaziar-se de toda e qualquer crença (posse) que substitua o espaço da fé (experiência da espera) em benefício da criação.

In this work, I propose a dialogue between João Cabral, through his book "Death and life of Severino" (1954-1955), and psychoanalysis, both under the aspect of semiotics and Cândido Portinari. I will consider, for this goal, art as a symbolic field of lived emotional experiences; an aesthetic experience where writing and painting will require from the creative being a self emptiness of each and every belief (possession) that substitutes the space of faith (experience of waiting) in benefit of the creation.

Homero, Freud, Greenaway: escrita, memória, escritura psíquica

Com base no livro A farmácia de Platão (Derrida, 2005) no qual o autor retoma o mito egípcio da escrita oferecida como phármakon para a memória, encontramos os fios da urdidura para tecermos considerações sobre a escrita desde Homero na Odisseia, Freud na criação da psicanálise e no filme de The pillow book (Greenaway, 1996) e pensarmos o psíquico como escritura.

Based on the book Plato's Pharmacy (Derrida, 2005) in which the author takes up the Egyptian myth of writing offered as a phármakon for memory, we find there the warp threads for weaving considerations about writing since Ulysses in the Odyssey, Freud in the creation of psychoanalysis and in the film The pillow book (Greenaway, 1996) and think of the psychic as writing.

Uma jornada para tecer a trama

A autora tece um artigo tentando aproximar seu trabalho de terapia de casal fazendo uma analogia com as peripécias do herói Ulisses, ao longo da sua odisseia. Para tanto, revisita a Odisseia, confrontando alguns episódios das experiências terapêuticas em que se narra a relação entre o convívio de homem e mulher e as várias etapas da viagem homérica, suas experiências e seus personagens.

The author weaves an article trying to approach her work with couples therapy by making an analogy with the adventures of the hero Ulysses, throughout his odyssey. To this end, she revisits the Odyssey, confronting some episodes of the therapeutic experiences in which the relationship between the coexistence of man and woman and the various stages of the Homeric journey, its experiences and its characters is narrated.

Sobre simbolismo e simbolização: a obra de Freud, Durkheim e Mauss

Esse tema de simbolismo e simbolização, que surgiu no final do século XIX e início do século XX, revolucionaria as ciências humanas e sociais como um todo ao longo do século XX, tanto dentro de cada uma delas quanto em suas inter-relações. Além disso, ele se tornaria um "fenômeno de transição", desempenhando um papel mediador- -ligador dentro da cisão histórica entre os campos individual e coletivo, entre psicologia e sociologia, em particular. Portanto, contribuiria para unificá-los prática e teoricamente dentro de um novo espaço epistemológico. Assim, simbolismo e simbolização se tornariam conceitos centrais das ciências humanas, que transformariam a representação e a compreensão do ser humano, das sociedades e de suas culturas. No entanto, a história recente dessas ciências humanas permite detectar dois caminhos "epistemológicos" bastante distintos que convergem para esse tema comum. Trata-se, por um lado, daquele tomado por Freud e pela psicanálise, e, por outro, daquele tomado por Durkheim, depois Mauss, a escola francesa de sociologia, depois a etnologia francesa moderna. Assim, apresentamos as concepções de simbolismo e simbolização de nossos três fundadores sobre o tema, que serão seguidas de uma discussão frutífera e necessária. Finalmente, nossa exploração desse vasto e complexo campo de simbolismo e simbolização através das concepções revolucionárias de Freud, Durkheim e Mauss levanta algumas questões inevitáveis e necessárias, uma das quais nos impõe: o que aconteceu com ele, ou qual foi seu destino dentro das ciências humanas e sociais, particularmente na França, durante a segunda metade do século XX?

This theme of symbolism and symbolization which appeared at the end of the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century would revolutionize the human and social sciences as a whole all throughout the XXth century, both within each of them and in their interrelationships. Moreover, it would become a "phenomenon of transition", playing a mediating-connecting role within the historical split between the individual and collective fields, between psychology and sociology, in particular. Therefore, it would contribute to practically and theoretically unifying them within a new epistemological space. Thus, symbolism and symbolization would become central concepts of the human sciences that would transform the representation and understanding of human beings, societies and their cultures. Nevertheless, the recent history of these human sciences enables us to detect two quite distinct "epistemological" paths converging towards this common theme. It is a matter, on the one hand, of that taken by Freud and psychoanalysis, and, on the other hand, of that taken by Durkheim, then Mauss, the French school of sociology, then modern French ethnology. So, we are presenting the conceptions of symbolism and symbolisation of our three founders on the subject, which will be followed by a fruitful and necessary discussion. Finally, our exploration of this vast, complex field of symbolism and symbolisation through the revolutionary conceptions of Freud, Durkheim and Mauss raises some inevitable and necessary questions, one of which forces itself upon us: What became of them, or what was their fate within the human and social sciences, particularly in France, during the second half of the XXth century?

O trabalho trata das relações entre mitos e psicanálise, e procura estabelecer contatos com nossa prática clínica utilizando os mitos como modelos para nos aproximarmos das nossas experiências emocionais individuais e daquelas que vivemos durante a sessão psicanalítica. Utilizamos a Eneida de Virgílio e As bacantes de Eurípedes como meio de contato com nosso mundo mental.

This paper tries to establish contact and relations between myths, psychoanalysis and our clinical practice, using miths as tools or models to enrich our contact with ourselves and with the living experience during the sessions. For this purpose, we have utilized the Eneid of Virgil and The bacchants of Euripedes.
