The grandparents in the Matrix of Identity

A partir do atendimento clínico, a autora apresenta as vantagens de incluir na pesquisa da matriz de identidade a figura dos avós. Isto permite ver de forma clara a mudança do discurso social através dos tempos, a ideologia presente em determinados papéis e sua influência nas questões atuais trazidas pelos clientes, além de criar um campo mais relaxado do que a abordagem direta das relações pais e filhos.

Based on her clinical experiences, the author presents the advantages of including grandparental figures in the exploration of the matrix of identity. Beyond allowing more flexibility than the direct investigation of parents-children relationships, this approach also gives us a clearer understanding of the changes that occur over time in social communication, of the ideology that is present in certain roles and how this influences the issues that clients bring to their therapy.

Homoaffective families

A autora problematiza a questão das famílias homoafetivas, discutindo a homossexualidade nas famílias de origem dos indivíduos, a tentativa de assumir esta condição para aos pais, aos irmãos e à sociedade em geral. Foca a homofobia, os problemas advindos das parcerias homoafetivas na sociedade, assim como a questão da adoção de filhos, mostrando as implicações destas escolhas em uma sociedade heterocêntrica. Enfatiza a importância das redes sociais de apoio.

The author reflects on the issue of homoaffective families, considering homosexuality within the family of origin of individuals, and their attempt to assume homosexuality in front of their parents, siblings and the wider society. The paper looks at homophobia, and the issues that homoaffective partnerships face in relation to society, as well as the issue of child adoption, presenting the implications of these choices in a mainly heterosexual society. The author also emphasises the importance of supportive social networks.

The sociometric reconfiguration of the contemporary family: the challenges of children and adolescents

Este artigo tem o objetivo de refletir sobre as transformações que ocorreram na família ao longo do tempo, abordando a história da família brasileira, o advento do divórcio e as novas formas de união conjugal. Apresenta aspectos das percepções e reações da criança na separação parental, bem como nas novas uniões. A multiplicidade de arranjos e demandas é o seu principal foco.

This article aims to reflect on the transformations that have occurred within the family over time, looking at the history of the Brazilian family, the emergence of divorce, and the more recent forms of conjugal partnerships. It presents children's perceptions of and reactions to the separation of their parents, as well as to their new partnerships. In the main focus of this paper is the multiplicity of arrangements and demands.

Family and conjugal conflicts from the perspective of adolescents

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa qualitativa em que, a partir de quatro sociodramas temáticos, obtivemos a compreensão sobre como os adolescentes, filhos de pais de primeira união e filhos de pais divorciados/separados/segundo casamento, compreendem e enfrentam as discórdias interparentais; quais são e como evoluem os temas identificados por eles como sendo conflituosos e quais as soluções dadas neste contexto. Este estudo foi realizado com quarenta e cinco adolescentes de uma escola particular, de nível socioeconômico médio, na cidade de São Paulo. O sociodrama temático demonstrou ser um instrumento apropriado na abordagem de temas desenvolvidos em pesquisa clínica, na compreensão das dinâmicas familiares e no desafio em obter um procedimento educacional e terapêutico que respeitasse os aspectos de vulnerabilidade dos participantes e preservasse sua intimidade. Os resultados foram significativos para a compreensão da dinâmica familiar e dos conflitos. Através da ação criativa, do teatro espontâneo, os participantes puderam expressar como são constituídas as diferentes concepções de família e como os papéis familiares são por eles compreendidos.

Within this paper we present the results of a qualitative research based on four thematic sociodramas, through which we gained some insight into how adolescents - children of parents in their first marriage and children of divorced/separated/re-married parents - understand and face their parents’ conflicts. Which are the conflicting issues identified by them and how do these develop? Which are their solutions within this context? This study was carried out with the participation if forty-five adolescents from a middle-class private school in São Paulo City. thematic sociodrama has proved to be an appropriate instrument for the exploration of issues elucidated through clinical research, for the understanding of family dynamics, and for developing an educational and therapeutic procedure that respects the vulnerability of those involved and preserves their privacy. The results of this study were significant for the understanding of family dynamics and conflicts. Through the creative action of spontaneous theatre the participants were able to express how different conceptions of the family are established, and how they understand family roles.

Creating dialogue between socionomy and community psychology

O presente artigo apresenta a relação entre socionomia e psicologia comunitária. Foram examinados os conceitos e visões de homem e de mundo, o compromisso social e as dimensões metodológicas de ambos os saberes, de modo a sistematizar os elementos em comum encontrados. Dentre as interfaces de maior relevância encontradas, pode-se citar que: a psicologia comunitária e a socionomia construíram-se de forma pragmática; compreendem o homem como ser sócio-histórico e relacional; privilegiam o trabalho com grupos; trazem em seu bojo metodologias que promovem uma ação mobilizadora e facilitadora da apreensão de novos conhecimentos; trabalham a partir de uma ética participativa, fomentando a co-responsabilidade das pessoas nas transformações sociais, dentre outros. Espera-se, com este estudo, contribuir para o delineamento de novas pesquisas sobre o assunto, além de servir como referência para os psicólogos, para que ampliem suas atuações na esfera pública e no âmbito de trabalhos institucionais e comunitários.

This article examines the relationship between Socionomy and Community Psychology. In an attempt to systematize the common aspects of these two disciplines, together with their methodological dimensions, we examined their concepts and views regarding man, the world and social obligations. Among their most relevant interfaces are the following: Community Psychology and Socionomy are both organized in a pragmatic manner; they both consider man as a socio-historical and relational being; they both favour group work; at the core of both there is a methodology promoting mobilizing action that facilitates new knowledge; they are both based on participative ethics, promoting co-responsibility for social change. Beyond serving as a reference point for psychologists wanting to improve their performance within the public sphere and in their institutional and community work, we also hope that this study will contribute to contrive further research regarding these issues.

The AGRUPPAA multi-dimensional socionomic way of directing and the tacit belief in the eternal return

Neste artigo apresento algumas estratégias de direção socionômica regidas pela "fé" tácita no eterno retorno e pelo exercício sistemático do pensamento complexo, que nesta perspectiva de trabalho é nomeado como Pensar maiúsculo. Tais estratégias desenham parte do método de intervenção socionômica AGRUPPAA, de minha autoria, em desenvolvimento desde 1989. Proponho que as manobras de direção - multidimensionais - percorram quatro ciclos de ação, que podem ou não se sobrepor durante o decorrer de uma sessão. São eles: ciclo protagônico sociométrico; ciclo para a constituição do campo intensivo focado; ciclo de suspensão e introdução da alteridade e ciclo de reconhecimento de identidade e diferenciação. A descrição de tais ciclos trouxe a necessidade de apresentar, ainda que superficialmente, o léxico socionômico utilizado nesta concepção, que pretende ser coerente com a forma de trabalho desenvolvida.

Within this paper I present certain strategies of socionomic directing guided by the tacit belief in the eternal return and by the systematic exercise of complex thinking, which within this working perspective is denominated as Thinking with a capital T. These strategies are part of the AGRUPPAA socionomic intervention method, which I invented and have been developing since 1989. What I propose is that the multi-dimensional manoeuvres of directing traverse four different cycles of action, which may or may not overlap as the session evolves. These cycles are: the sociometric protagonic cycle; the cycle of constituting the area of intensive focus; the cycle of suspension and introduction of change; and the cycle of identity recognition and differentiation. The description of these cycles has made it necessary to also present, even if only superficially, the socionomic language used within this conception that intends to be coherent with the developed way of working.

Tattooed bodies, volatile relationships: the contemporary meaning of the concept of cultural conserve

O autor utiliza a tatuagem para discutir o conceito de conserva cultural, como proposto por Jacob Levy Moreno. Por que jovens e adultos se tatuam em um momento da História marcado pela volatilidade das relações humanas? Por que se fixar na moda de algo tão permanente quando o mundo moderno-líquido pede desprendimento? Se a tatuagem é uma conserva cultural, esse conceito precisa ser redimensionado, pois tem uma forte conotação de resistência ao mudancismo da pós-modernidade.

The author employs tattoo in order to discuss the concept of cultural conserve as proposed by Jacob Levy Moreno. Why do young people and adults get tattooed in a moment of History marked by the volatility of human relationships? Why do they get attached to the fashion of something so permanent, when our modern-liquid world demands detachment? If tattoo is a cultural conserve, than this concept needs reconsidering, as it has a strong connotation of resistance in face of ever-changing postmodernity.

Short-cut and vignette - a proposal of understanding

Trata-se de um estudo que visa à compreensão de Atalho e Vinheta, propõe definições de tais conceitos e discute algumas recomendações e limites em relação a suas aplicações práticas. Apresenta, inicialmente, um levantamento quanto às designações gerais ligadas a esses termos. Em seguida, em função da pouca bibliografia técnica, expõe pesquisa informal realizada com alguns psicodramatistas sobre suas ideias e práticas a respeito desses temas. Analisa essas respostas, intercalando-as com conceitos teóricos do psicodrama e fragmentos de casos clínicos. Passo a passo, extraindo definições parciais, chega a uma proposta de entendimento e distinção entre Atalho e Vinheta.

This is a study aiming to understand the concepts of short-cut and Vignette, offering definitions of these concepts and discussing recommendations and limitations regarding their practical applications. Following an initial discussion regarding the general designations linked to these concepts, in light of the limited technical bibliography available, the author presents an informal research carried out with some psychodramatists regarding their understanding and practical approach to these subjects. The collected information is then analysed and interpolated with theoretical concepts of psychodrama and excerpts of clinical cases. Step by step, and through partial definitions, it arrives to a proposal of understanding of and distinction between Short-cut and Vignette.

A place to be. Socio-psychodrama at a refuge for children

Neste artigo apresentamos uma experiência de intervenção sociopsicodramática com crianças abrigadas, portadoras de HIV, e como compreendemos a reparação da matriz de identidade destas crianças à luz de conceitos psicodramáticos como vínculos residuais, papéis de fantasia e autotele. Agregamos também contribuições da teoria sistêmica e da psicologia em geral, destacando a eficácia do sociodrama, diante de sofrimentos humanos tão intensos, visando à preservação do homem espontâneo-criativo.

Within this paper we present our experience of a socio-psychodramatic intervention at a refuge for HIV positive children, and our understanding of the reparative work of these children's matrix of identity in the light of psychodramatic concepts such as residual links, fantasy roles and auto-tele. We also bring together contributions of systemic theory and general psychology, emphasising the efficacy of sociodrama when working with such intense suffering, aiming at the preservation of spontaneous-creative man.
