Trata-se, no presente texto, de examinar alguns aspectos da cultura individualista, característica da sociedade moderna, a partir da teoria de Louis Dumont. Para isto se estabelecem os fundamentos da perspectiva dumontiana, precisando sua orientação metodológica e seus conceitos centrais.

The text examines some aspects of individualistic culture, as a characteristic of modern society, from Louis Dumont theory. It establishes the basis of Dumont approach, specifying his methodological trend and his central concepts.

A prostituição infanto-juvenil sob o prisma do mal-estar e da subjetividade

A problemática da prostituição infanto-juvenil, nas grandes cidades brasileiras, vem suscitando debates e concentrando esforços de variados segmentos ligados à esfera jurídica, institucional, bem como à sociedade de forma geral. Tentando inscrever as instâncias da subjetividade e do mal-estar no bojo dessas discussões, constitui objetivo deste trabalho tecer algumas considerações acerca de tais instâncias, por entendê-las imprescindíveis à análise e compreensão do fenômeno em foco.

The problem of juvenile prostitution in the big Brazilian cities has been generating debates and focusing a great deal of effort from various areas connected to the law and to the society in general. Trying to include subjectivity and hard feelings in those discussions is the main purpose of this project, as well as weaving some insights about the subject, since such insights are vital to the analysis and understanding of the phenomenon of juvenile prostitution.

Mal-estar, subjetividade e psicose: reflexões a partir do sistema familiar

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo fazer reflexões sobre o mal-estar inerente à subjetividade psicótica, em especial na sua manifestação familiar, do nuclear ao transgeracional. Serão discutidos os seguintes pressupostos: (a) a subjetividade psicótica é circunscrita ao sentido que a interação familiar lhe atribui; (b) a semiologia do discurso psicótico pode ser mais bem compreendida dentro do padrão comunicacional familiar; (c) as contradições psicóticas (particularmente sua sintomatologia) dizem respeito às contradições familiares, em seus mais difusos aspectos (individual, conjugal, parental, filial, fraterno); assim existem nestas famílias "obstáculos interpostos pelos membros da família ao crescimento de um deles", sendo a subjetividade do psicótico espelho deste espectro; (d) a simbiose mãe-filho psicótico é engendradora da rede familiar, de que são complementares (e às vezes apenas coadjuvantes) pai, outros filhos e família de origem; (e) a rigidificação do processo interacional familiar é normatizadora do padrão de funcionamento psicótico, seja qual for a sua manifestação; (f) a homeostase familiar se fixa então no doente, traduzindo-se "numa torpe precipitação e no movimento tendente ao fracasso, à tensão e ao drama" (Benoit, 1994, p. 72), sinais definidores do mal-estar recorrente.

This article has as objective to do reflections on the inherent indisposition to the psychotic subjectivity, especially in its family manifestation, of the nuclear to the transgerational. Will be discussed the following ones presupposed: (a) the psychotic subjectivity is bounded to the sense that the family interaction attributes it; (b) the semiology of the psychotic speech can be more good understood inside of the family communicacional standard; (c) the psychotic contradictions (particularly its symptomatology) say about the family contradictions, in its more diffuse aspects (individual, married, parental, branch, fraternal); exist in these families "obstacles interposed by the members of the family to the growth of one of them", being the subjectivity of the psychotic mirror of this spectrum; (d) the symbiosis mother-psychotic son is dreaming up of the family net, from where they are complemental (and sometimes just helping) father, other children and origin family; (e) the rigidification of the family process says about the pattern of psychotic operation, be which goes to its manifestation; (f) the family homeostasis notices then in the sick, being translated "in a vile precipitation and in the movement to the failure, to the tension and the drama" (Benoit, 1994, p.72), definitive signs of the appealing indisposition.

Nesta comunicação abordaremos o problema AIDS a partir de uma pesquisa do diagnóstico de pacientes vivendo com HIV, realizada em Brasília, e analisaremos os diferentes contextos com os quais o paciente tem que interagir.

In this article, we discuss the problem of AIDS based on research conduct in Brasília, dealing with the diagnosis of persons living with HIV, and discuss the different contexts in which the patient must interact.

Este escrito assinala algumas vicissitudes subjetivas e sociais advindas da rápida invasão das novas tecnologias reprodutivas no nosso cotidiano, tentando não assumir um olhar preconceituoso e unilateral de defesa ou de ataque, mas optando pela confrontação entre idéias conflitantes como as de Héritier-Augé, de Jean Baudrillard e de Pierre Lévy. É no campo da ética que nossas expectativas, demandas e frustrações precisam ser experienciadas, não sendo extirpadas as idéias mais preciosas que nos sustentam enquanto humanos: vida, morte, desamparo e erotismo, para que não sejamos seduzidos e aprisionados pelas quimeras* que nós mesmos estamos criando.

This writing points out some subjective and social vicissitudes originary from the rapid invasion of new reproductive technologies of our day by day trying not to assume a prejudicious and unilateral look of defense or of attack, but opting for the confrontation among conflicting ideas as the ones from Héritier-Augé, Jean Baudrillard and Pierre Lévy. Is in the ethics field that our expectations, demands and frustrations need to be experienced, not being extirpated the more precious ideas that sustain us while human beings: life, death, abandoning and erotism, in order not to be seduced and prisioned by utopias that we ourselves are creating.
