Links between art and clinical practice

A organização socioeconômica capitalista produz efeitos subjetivos que são amplamente trazidos para serem analisados nas clínicas psicológicas. A presente pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, buscou investigar como acontecem as práticas clínicas na contemporaneidade, valendo-se, primeiramente da análise de documentos elaborados pelos conselhos profissionais que possuem uma característica mais prescritiva e instituída. Todavia, em função das dimensões de acaso e de imprevisibilidade que atravessam a existência clínica, este modelo instituído demanda uma análise mais situada. Assim, buscou-se pensar naquelas práticas clínicas que vão além das prescrições com objetivos curativos e que colocam em curso processos de criação de modos de vida. Nesta via, foi possível delinear conexões entre a arte e a clínica, buscando destacar uma prática que se propõe a acompanhar a vida em seus movimentos de transformação e criação.

The capitalist social and economic organization produces subjective effects which are widely present and analyzed in psychological clinical practice. The present qualitative research sought to investigate how clinical practices take place in contemporary times, through an analysis of documents prepared by professional councils that have a more prescriptive and established feature. However, considering the dimensions of chance and unpredictability that traverse the existence, this established model demands an analysis that take into account current issues surrounding clinical practice. Therefore, practices that go beyond prescriptions and purely curative aims were taken into account, and interventions related to processes of creating ways of life were of special interest. In that sense, connexions between clinical practice and art were drawn, aiming to highlight practices that accompanies life in its movements of transformation and creation.

The falling of the unconscious and the bureaucracy of the minimal subjectivity

Este artigo analisa os efeitos da subjetividade mínima na clínica e os desafios que a mesma enfrenta ao problematizar o contexto capitalista na atualidade. Através da genealogia, percorre-se a noção produzida sobre a loucura ao longo dos séculos até seu desaguar nos transtornos mentais. O estudo trabalha a noção de desrazão dos gregos, algo amplo, para além do homem; conceitua a loucura da idade clássica, interiorizada no homem a partir da psiquiatria; e finaliza a leitura sobre a loucura com o inconsciente psicanalítico, que interioriza essa força desarrazoada no sujeito. O artigo segue seu curso resgatando o conceito de biopoder, com seus mecanismos de docilização e regulamentação da vida, e sua produção de subjetividade mínima. Subjetividade corporal e orgânica, sem singularidades, na qual o sujeito nada tem a dizer sobre si, apenas sendo resultado de funções químico-cerebrais não funcionais que aparecem na clínica como transtornos mentais.

This article analyzes the effects of the minimal subjectivity in the clinic and the challenges that it faces as it questions the capitalist context today. Through the genealogy, we go over the notion produced about madness over the centuries, untill it disgorges in the mental illnesses. The study works the notion of unreason, from Greeks, something wide, beyond the man, conceptualizes the madness of the Classical Age, internalized in the man from the psychiatry, and ends in the reading about the madness with the psychoanalytic unconscious that internalizes this unreasonable force in the subject. The article brings the concept of biopower with its mechanisms of docilization and regulation of life, and its production of minimal subjectivity. Physical and mental subjectivity with no singularities, in which the subject has nothing to say about itself, being only a result of brain chemical functions that are not functional, and shows up in the clinic with mental disorders.

What voice in the unheard voice? A psychoanalytic listening to recyclable collectors

Apresentamos o relato de uma experiência na modalidade de grupo psicoterapêutico com catadores de material reciclável, com base nos fundamentos da psicanálise do campo de Freud e Lacan. Por meio de enunciados construídos segundo o princípio da associação livre, foi possível observar, ao longo do processo, mudanças/deslocamentos nos sujeitos, que ressoavam para além do locutor, atingindo partes do coletivo. O objetivo é mostrar que o favorecimento de construções narrativas pode levar o sujeito a reposicionar-se diante do seu sofrimento e o entorno. Aspecto relevante também para pensar os modos de aproximação utilizados pelas equipes de Saúde Mental e da Assistência Social em relação às populações oprimidas.

We present an account of an experience in psychotherapeutic group with recyclable collectors, based on the foundations of Freud and Lacan's psychoanalysis. By means of enunciations built on the principle of free association it was possible to observe, along the process, changes/displacements in the subjects which resonated beyond the speaker, reaching parts of the collective. The goal is to show that the favoring of narrative constructions can lead the subject to reposition themselves before their suffering and their surroundings. A relevant aspect to also take into consideration concerning the approach modes used by Mental Health and Social Service teams when addressing to oppressed populations.

Anatomia de uma epidemia: pílulas mágicas, drogas psiquiátricas e o aumento assombroso da doença mental

The theoretical-practical experience with Matrix Support: device for the training of students, researchers and workers within brazilian Universal Health System

Este relato de experiência discute a ação de Apoio Matricial desenvolvida entre a Universidade Federal Fluminense, trabalhadores e gestores da Saúde Mental e Atenção Básica no município de Volta Redonda, RJ, abordando o Apoio Matricial como dispositivo para a formação de estudantes, pesquisadores e trabalhadores no SUS. Observamos que os atores envolvidos experimentam os desafios de articular as ações de cuidado em Saúde Mental no território, problematizando a fragmentação dos processos de trabalho em saúde e compreendendo a função da Psicologia na sustentação do compartilhamento entre diferentes saberes. Nesse sentido, o papel da universidade é apoiar, tanto em teoria como em campo, a construção do Apoio Matricial como uma direção de trabalho para a relação entre Saúde Mental e Atenção Básica. Concluímos enfatizando que trabalhar com o Apoio Matricial é investir na formação, provocando transformações subjetivas que afirmem novos modos de cuidar entre os atores envolvidos nas práticas em saúde.

This experience report discusses the Matrix Support action developed between the Federal Fluminense University, workers and managers of Mental Health and Primary Care in the city of Volta Redonda, RJ, addressing the Matrix Support as a device for training students, researchers and workers in the SUS. We observed that the actors involved experienced the challenges of articulating Mental Health care actions in the territory, problematizing the fragmentation of work processes in health care and understanding Psychology's place in sustaining shared knowledges. In this sense, the University's role is to support, both in theory and in the field, the construction of the Matrix Support as a working principle that enables a relationship between Mental Health and Primary Care. We concluded emphasizing that working with Matrix Support is investing in training, promoting subjective transformations that affirm new ways of caring among the actors involved in health practices..
