Abstract

SACOMAN, Mateus Barroso. Irlen syndrome: diagnosis and interventional context. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2019, vol.36, n.110, pp.222-234. ISSN 0103-8486.

The Irlen syndrome affects 12% to 14% of the world population. Despite this high incidence, the debate on the diagnosis, intervention and context (family, school, social life) during this process are poorly distributed in Brazil, especially in regard to civil society, although there is a major recent effort to this. The intention of this work it's surveying studies and materials of the subject, reading, analyzing and readback of the references found, and so, determine the definitions and signs of the syndrome, also addressing the difficulties created by it in various fields of convivence and explain some methods of intervention, recording still some situations and ways, to reflect the professional practice of dealing with this whole process.
