Abstract

Parents, psychologists, educators and, above all, the students, coexist and come across, more and more frequently, with a phenomenon that compromises the scholar future of the students: the learning difficulties. Do the human differences allow a standardization of symptoms and different cultures, justifying the belief in generalizing explanations to the impediments to the learning and educational processes? Starting from these questionings, the present work had as an objective to incite reflections on concepts and theories that tend to generate mistakes and contradictions on the difficulties that occur in the relation between the intention to teach and the desire to learn, defending an performance of the school psychologists that privileges the understanding of the conditions of the production of these difficulties in detriment of the emphasis in the diagnosis of the students.
