Abstract

FERRARI, Andrea Gabriela  and  SORDI, Regina Orgler. The body dimension in learning. Estilos clin. [online]. 2009, vol.14, n.27, pp.208-229. ISSN 1415-7128.

Considering the importance of former interactions between the baby and the primordial other this paper aims to discuss the relationship between the constitution of body representation and the construction of the subject of learning. The authors base their ideas on the contributions of Pain (1973) and Fernández (1991;2001) about symptom formation in learning and corporal dimension and some psychoanalytic developments about the constitutive aspect of body image such as Dolto (1984) and Aulagnier (1989), as well as the freudian (1905) discussion about the drive for knowing. The authors discuss the importance of the constitution of body representation as participating in the construction of learning modalities.

Keywords : body constitution; former relationships; learning symptom.
