This study intends to draw sociodemographic profile and characterize the experience of women who performed the interruption of pregnancy in cases of sexual violence relating them to the quality of care in a reference maternity in legal abortion in the north of Santa Catarina. The research has exploratory descriptive character. Documentary analysis will be carried out through medical records from 2014 to 2020 and through simple descriptive statistics. The sociodemographic profile was predominantly women aged 22-30 years (48.3%), white (89.7%), single (65.52%), with complete high school (48.3%), the author is unknown (61.1%) and the use of physical force (50%) was more reported. Regarding care, women felt welcomed and there was resolution, but there were still some failures regarding personal judgments of professionals, medical records, delays in the process. It's possible to realize how much care interferes with the emotional state of women and that the choice of legal abortion does not take place without ambiguity and suffering.
