Abstract

OLIVA, Maria Luisa de la. The insistence of the real in sexuality. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2015, n.30, pp.79-99. ISSN 1676-157X.

As of the 1970s, Jacques Lacan begins building his conception of sexuation culminating in the Seminar Encore. Previously Lacan notes that there is a Real which insists on the sexuality of every human being, and that it is summarized in the aphorism: "there is no sexual relationship", "there is no sex ratio". The article aims at finding the points of encounter and divergence between Lacan's conception and some tenets of feminist theories related to sexuality.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Feminism; Gender; Jouissance; Difference; Real.
