Abstract

CARVALHO, Maria Teresa Melo. A skin to the words: on the relevance of sensory envelops in the psychoanalytical clinic with the autistic child. Lat. Am. j. fundam. psychopathol. on line [online]. 2008, vol.5, n.1, pp.44-55. ISSN 1677-0358.

The present paper raises a question on the use of interpretation in the psychoanalytical clinic with the autistic child, in order to defend the relevance of the interventions based upon the sensory domain as proposed by Tafuri, in the realm of her "non interpreter psychoanalyst" thesis. It also aims to go further regarding the theoretical foundations of this thesis.

Keywords : Psychoanalytic Clinic of Autism; Ego-skin; Autistic Objects.
