MUNCK, Luciano; MUNCK, Mariana Gomes Musetti and BORIM-DE-SOUZA, Rafael. Organizational sustainability: proposing a representative framework for the occcurence of its competent action. Gerais, Rev. Interinst. Psicol. [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.spe, pp.147-158. ISSN 1983-8220.
The objective of this article is to propose a framework which shows the necessary processes for the occurrence of the corporate sustainability. The epistemological approach of this article is guided by the theory of organizational action, which observes the organization as a permanent process of actions and decisions which are disseminated in all managerial levels. Once that this logic has been chosen, another theory has been researched which could complement the organizational acting with coherence in its actions and decisions. The competence theory has been selected as a possible alternative. Through this interrelation between the organizational action, the corporate sustainability and the competence management, a framework has been structured showing the following main points: a representative network of challenges necessary for the organization to reach its corporate sustainability; the group of competences needed to validate the reach of the corporate sustainability and the validation of the interconnection of these two phenomena as a managerial precept able of inserting the sustainability principles in the organizational actions and decisions.
