Abstract

LAUREANO, Pedro Sobrino. Psychoanalysis, immaterial work and post modernity. Trivium [online]. 2012, vol.4, n.2, pp.45-57. ISSN 2176-4891.

We search to present some possible articulations between Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis, the concept of immaterial work developed by the philosophers Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt and the statute of the psychoanalytical clinic in the post - modern world. Our discussion is centered in the concept of post- modernity and the transformations of power mechanisms that can be observed in today's world. We argue that both psychoanalyses and the theory of Negri and Hardt develop an ethical and political thought that is centered in the affirmation of singularity and difference.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; immaterial work; post- modernity; singularity.
