Abstract

POKORSKI, Maria Melania Wagner F.. The contributions of psychoanalysis to a child with special needs. Estud. psicanal. [online]. 2012, n.37, pp.71-78. ISSN 0100-3437.

This text describes some situations observed during the psychoanalytical treatment of a child with special needs, whose hydrocephaly diagnosis was detected before birth. During her fetal development, the child was submitted to intrauterine surgical procedures for implants and valve control. Many of such experiences were relived during psychoanalytical sessions. We aim to comprehend this child’s psychical organization based on the referential studies of Aberastury, Winnicott and Nasio.

Keywords : Special child; Psychical organization; Interventions.
