The Ferenczi’s theory of trauma - that establishes the split between two worlds: the child’s and the adult’s, where the child’s language of tenderness can be run over by the adult’s language of passion - is an important psychoanalytic theoretical tool to better understand the violence and abuse that contemporary marketing practices have on children.
