Abstract

HOFFMANN, Waldo. Essay on language and the psychoanalytical praxis. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2007, vol.30, n.45, pp.56-63. ISSN 0101-3106.

While demarcating the possible relevant areas of knowledge, this essay argues that the foundations of the psychoanalytical praxis are language and its impacts on human existence. Though referring to the seductive aspects of the present biologist reductionism, it points to its limits.

Keywords : Epistemology; Language; Psychoanalytical praxis; Psychic reality; Areas of knowledge.
