Abstract

CAPELOZZA, Mayara Sastre  and  CAMPOS, Érico Bruno Viana. Between poetics and aesthetics: an unusual encounter of psychoanalysis with art. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2020, vol.42, n.70, pp.13-29. ISSN 0101-3106.

The surrealist movement characterizes the explicit encounter of psychoanalytic theory and the field of art. The surrealist artists, based on the psychoanalytic model of dream and the technique of psychic automatism, sought an expression of thought that would dispense the control of consciousness. Contextualized by this encounter, this article proposes a discussion about the relations established between author, work and spectator through the perspective of psychoanalysis and taking as an object of analysis the productions of Salvador Dalí.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Art; Surrealism; Aesthetics.
