The article deals with some elements that concern to epistemology of psychoanalysis, and that are usually object of systematic reflection in psychoanalysis. When and how can we speak about research in the psychoanalytic domain. The role of that kind of research in the center of the scientific community. The interactions of psychoanalysis with others areas of knowledge. The psychoanalytic research method.
