Abstract

This paper presents the use of the Living Newspaper as part of a major project aiming to develop the role of educator in a group of public school teachers. It describes the psychodramatic experience of the Living Newspaper and its impact and repercussions on the group, also reflecting on its possibilities as a dramatic technique or resource within a Sociodrama session. The session described in this paper had a profound effect on the participants, leading on reflections about their own role, the student's role, and the context.
