Abstract

POZZOBON, Magda; PEZZI, Fernanda Aparecida Szareski  and  MARIN, Angela Helena. Sharing knowledge: report of an intervention with teachers. Aletheia [online]. 2014, n.43-44, pp.239-247. ISSN 1413-0394.

This paper is a report of an intervention developed with 55 teachers of an elementary public school of São Leopoldo/RS. This consisted of three monthly meetings held at the institution with objective to facilitate reflections on work motivation, communication and relationship between colleagues and between teacher and student, highlighting the importance of the teacher's role. Participants showed up eager and willing to seek solutions to the conflicts that they lived at work and it was explicit their need to be recognized and remain motivated to face professional dilemmas. It points to need for continuous flow of interventions that can improve the teachers´ work, especially in motivation, interpersonal relationships and self-esteem.
