Abstract

This paper investigates professional legal psychology interventions in false accusation of sexual abuse cases. It is based on qualitative research conducted through psychosocial reports documentary analysis in family courts, and interviews with professionals involved in its elaborations. Initially, discusses the rapprochement between instances of population control and biomedical devices, to better understand the entry of psychology in the judiciary. In a second moment, examines the value of psychosocial intervention for the judiciary view and the impact of the reports to psychology professionals. Finally, discusses the dilemma related to the "truth" and "power", founder of the profession of psychology as a science-intervention.
