Abstract

BARKAY, Rafaela. No woman will be free until all women are free: a look at the israeli-palestinian conflict in a feminist perspective. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2016, vol.16, n.35, pp.53-70. ISSN 1519-549X.

In this article, I intend to explore the activity of Israeli feminist groups that included a platform of an anti-occupation of the Palestinian territories on their agenda. Starting with a brief historical background, I will focus on the differentiation of certain politically motivated initiatives, from a feminist model focused on issues concerning to women, however detached from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict landscape. By discussing the role of these groups, I intend to explore the possibilities of dialogue between the Israeli and Palestinian populations from a feminist perspective that focuses on a collaborative and egalitarian work on building a common reality.

Keywords : Feminism; Dialogue; Israeli-Palestinian Conflict; Reconciliation; Conflict Resolution.
