Labor precariousness is presented as a multidimensional process of institutionalization of instability, which is featured by the growth of different kinds of precariousness and exclusion. It is supported by the decrease in costs of production, based on labor flexibility, which is established through employment precariousness and labor precariousness. In view of this, the article has the objective of addressing the processes of labor precariousness as factors that trigger the social suffering. It has been concluded that the scenario of outsourcing and privation of rights causes important effects on the mental health of workers, which may be manifested through social suffering.
