Abstract

NAVARRO PRADOS, Juan Antonio. Criticism and support to corporate social responsibility: an ethnographic approach based on the workers’ experience and a qualitative methodology proposal. Univ. Psychol. [online]. 2007, vol.6, n.1, pp.59-68. ISSN 1657-9267.

This paper aims at presenting partial results and process of an investigation which analyzes the experience of a group of employees, namely the experience of the implementation process of the corporate social responsibility policy of a medium-sized service company. For the case study participant observation, analysis of corporate documents and indepth interviews to 64 employees across all organisational levels were employed. AtlasTi software was used to analyse and feed back the information received. This analysis produced a matrix of 161 content codes further analysed by means of network analysis methodology. Eventually, content network data were compared to the corporate sociogram. The investigation has been carried out during the last three years.
