Abstract

NAGEM, Glaucia. "Joyce, the Sinthoma": a reading. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2014, n.29, pp.59-65. ISSN 1676-157X.

The author proposes a reflection on the contribution of James Joyce's work to Jacques Lacan's theoretical and clinical construction departing from the analysis of his text entitled "Joyce, the Sinthoma". The main focus of the article is on the relationship between Joyce's literary creative mode and Lacan's enunciations while approaching his concept of la-langue.

Keywords : James Joyce; Literature; La-langue.
