Abstract

PESSOA, Silvana. The effects of naming in Lacan's School. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2015, n.31, pp.197-205. ISSN 1676-157X.

There are, in the Lacanian Field Community, certain acronyms such as: PA (Practitioner Analyst), SE (School Analyst) and SMA (School Member Analyst), expressions, name-functions, which do not assert anything, unlike a formula that can be true or false, and that can lead to many misunderstandings. Treating the difference between these expressions, the possible effects of "consistency gain" on the the lists of SMA, and examine the possibility of avoiding that in an analytical community is what is intended with this article.

Keywords : Nomination; AME; Lacan's School; Formulae; Name-functions.
