Abstract

GRISANTI, Rosangela Sanchez; LANGE, Elaine Soares Neves  and  RIBEIRO, Elen Aparecida. A criança acidentada atendida no hospital um estudo psicanalítico do imaginário infantil. Psic [online]. 2003, vol.4, n.2, pp.44-55. ISSN 1676-7314.

The childish accidents represent an important cause of mortality nowadays. 42.5% of the internments due to accidents, were children from 0 to 14 years old. In this research the search of some possible determinative psychic ones is considered associated to the childish accidents. The Drawing-Story with Subject was used with injured children that had passed for ambulatorial attendance or had been interned from October 2002 to May 2003. 96,4% of the accidents had occurred while these children were playing. The results had demonstrated that the combination of the feelings - the guilt and desire to be well-taken care of (abandonment feeling) - shows off as a common cause which can take children to becoming victim of accident themselves. The psychological factors are not unique, however it is part of a set of both external and internal conditions related to the dynamics of these citizens. The child who has an accident seems to bring in its history an identification with behaviors, where the guilt and the consequent repairing is present. The propensity to the accidents seems to reproduce an unconscious desire to alliviate the guilt.
