CAMPOS, Maria Isabel de; PISONI, Kelly Zanon de Bortoli  and  RUEDA, Fabián Javier Marín. Quality of Work Life and Engagement in Adult Vocational Guidance. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2020, vol.21, n.2, pp.177-188. ISSN 1984-7270.  https://doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2020v21n205.

Quality of working life (QWL) and work engagement (WE) have been shown to be important in achieving caree9r results, although little studied in transition contexts. This study had two objectives: 1) to verify the existence of differences in the perception of QWL WE between individuals who have or have not gone through a career transition; 2) to investigate the impact of QWL on EGT for both groups of workers. The 221 participants lived in South of Brazil, with an average age=31.52 years (sd=8.85). The results indicated statistically significant differences between the groups and the positive effect of QWL on WE also with differences in relation to the QWL factors that promote WE.

Keywords : professional aspirations; vocational orientation; organizational psychology; occupational health.
