Although many studies highlight the neurobiological causes of Tourette Syndrome case studies have shown that the actions of cognitive-behavioral therapy have shown effectiveness in decreasing the intensity and frequency of symptoms. In this article, the objective was to present effective clinical actions in the case of a patient diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. The present case report describes the treatment of a 32-year-old woman, married, who mad 36 sessions of individual psychotherapy for the treatment of Tourette's syndrome. The DSM-5 criteria were used in the diagnostic evaluation.
