Abstract

DIAS-VIANA, João Lucas. Psychometric properties of the House-Tree-Person (HTP) Test: Analysis of the brazilian scientific production. Psicol. Am. Lat. [online]. 2020, n.34, pp.159-170. ISSN 1870-350X.

The present study aimed to identify and analyze researches carried out with HTP in Brazil, to gather psychometric studies researches about the instrument. Through a systematic review of the literature, the databases of Scielo, PePSIC, Lilacs and Index Psi were consulted. The articles were obtained using the index words "HTP", "house tree person" and "casa árvore pessoa", resulting in a total of 14 studies. The articles analyzed was published in the period between 1999 and 2018, carried out, mostly, by researchers from São Paulo institutions, whose main objective was the evaluation of emotional aspects of clinical populations. The scarcity of studies that sought psychometric qualities for the test was highlighted, evidencing the need for research that seeks psychometric parameters for HTP in Brazil.

Keywords : psychological assessment; house-tree-person drawing; psycodiagnosis; psychogical tests; projective techniques.
