Abstract

MEXKO, Sara; SOUZA, William Azevedo de  and  BENELLI, Silvio José. Contributions of the Intercessor Device for work in the field of Social Assistance. Rev. Psicol. UNESP [online]. 2019, vol.18, n.spe, pp.261-279. ISSN 1984-9044.

This essay is the result of intercession processes that have occurred in institutional establishments of the Brazilian Social Assistance policy. In this field marked by the signifiers "poverty" and "lack" and by the discourse about the law subject, we inc lude the subject of the unconscious desire. We serve of the Intercessor Device in its two moments of production: the moment of work with the subjects of the assistance and of the institutional practice with the collective of work; and the moment of the the oretical reflection, produced a posteriori, about the processes of production of intercessions realized in the first moment. Of transdisciplinary nature, this device has as main epistemological pillars the Psychoanalysis of the field of Freud and Lacan and the Historical Materialism, as well as the French Institutional Analysis and the Philosophy of Difference. We aim to bring some contributions about praxis in Social Assistance, without the pretension to produce a totalizing knowledge, but with the purpose rather to instrumentalize other workers who wish to position themselves as intercessors in their practices.

Keywords : Intercessor Device; Social Assistance; Psychoanalysis; Production of knowledge.
