Abstract
KRIMBERG VON MUHLEN, Bruna; DEWES, Diego and NEVES STREY, Marlene. Violence against women: The ''privilege'' of any woman! An analysis of some fragments from the film ''Take My Eyes''. rev. psicol. univ. antioquia [online]. 2012, vol.4, n.1, pp.87-103. ISSN 2145-4892.
This article was prepared from the fact that violence against women with origins in patriarchy puts the woman in place of subordination to man, and that statistics show alarming data. The study aimed to review some more powerful illustrative scenes of the Spanish film Te doy mis ojos, which portrays the life of a woman victim of domestic violence. From this film we discussed violence against women. We also use the music of Chico Buarque Sem Açucar. The use of features that are common to our cognition - video, music and text - facilitate the understanding, providing a critical view that tries to envision the development of practices for liberating women.
