Abstract

The following paper tries to articulate the aspects related to a clinical case and the metapsychological elements highlighted in it, regarding the issue of perversion and its foundations. One of the purposes consists in, at a first approach, locate the sort of challenge that regards the perverse assemblage. In order to do that, this research proposes a dialogue with some studies on the subject by Freud, Aulagnier, Lacan and Ferraz, thus building the base upon which the comments can be made. This way it is possible to think, based on the clinical case, the purposes of such assemblage. The perspective considered here regards the aesthetic ideal in the perverse fantasy, which erects a monumento to refusal (Verleugnung), thus turning the horror of castration into a value to be honored and, in order to do so, it invites a witness to watch this scene.
