LIMA, Vinícius Moreira and VORCARO, Ângela Maria Resende. Traditional genders and sexuation: deadlocks of the subject between the sense and the hole. Trivium [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp.35-48. ISSN 2176-4891. https://doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2018v1p.35.
The table of sexuation is an attempt to show the unconscious logic of enjoyment, located in the register of the Real. Nevertheless, we find a proliferation of examples based on imaginary meanings to explain its two sides recurring to the current configuration of sexuated semblants (of gender), situated between Symbolic and Imaginary. This article aims at a reading of sexuation that is attuned to the Lacanian project of a logical emptying of meaning, pointing to the whole and the not-whole phallic as the structural tension by which the subject insists, between meaning and the universal, on one side, and the hole and singular, on the other.
