Abstract

INTRODUCTION: According with the data of the Manager Committee of internet in Brazil (2014), around 81% of the teenagers uses internet every day, showing the comprehensiveness of the use of digital technologies and showing the importance of the scientific investigation about related themes. OBJECTIVE: The following paper has the objective of discuss, by the psychopedagogic insight, the consequences of the indiscriminate use of digital technologies by the teenagers. METHOD: It is a bibliographic study, with an exploratory bias, about the theme. Therefore, it was formulated the following guiding question: In which way the use of digital technologies affects the teenagers in a social, affective an educational scope? RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The text presents the information's collected and systemized in sections, that feature the affective implications, mainly in family relation; social, approaching questions that affect the real and virtual social relations; and cognitive, highlighting the changed cerebral functions and the effects in learning. As the main results stand out: the family conflict, caused by detachment and lack of dialogue; the prominence of superficial relations and false intimacy and the illusion that everything is possible; obstacles in learning because of the internet dependency, anxiety disorders and attention deficit.
