Abstract

LUZ, Anette Blaya. Hi. What time will really be our appointment? TKS.. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2015, vol.49, n.1, pp.165-175. ISSN 0486-641X.

The author expresses her concerns about the impact of new communication platforms on analytic relationships. Issues such as answering e-mails, text messages or WhatsApp, and even if the analyst should have a Facebook account or not, are debated. Without providing a conclusive position, the author proposes that analysts can't be “behind the times”. They must learn how to use these tools, because refusing to do so would be less neutral than using the tools. She also poses concerns about the loss of anonymity due to searching the web.

Keywords : anonymity; internet; WhatsApp; Facebook; web; virtual psychoanalysis.
