Abstract

The present article has as an objective, to provide a panorama on premature birth and its repercussions in the familiar scope, showing the vulnerability of the baby in its physical and affective development, as well as the emotional crisis that the parents go through during this event, besides the alteration in the family dynamics. It presents, also the definition of social network and its influence in the crisis situations, showing its importance during the birth process, in order to stimulate the activation or construction of an effective support network in the prematurity situation. Finally, it suggests a new model of health politics in Brazil that leads to humanized attention in risky births.
