Abstract

RIGUINI, Renata Damiano. From acting out to transference: two solutions for a case of psychosis. Psyche (Sao Paulo) [online]. 2005, vol.9, n.16, pp.153-164. ISSN 1415-1138.

Our starting point is the description of the transference in the treatment of a case of psychosis. The erotomanic transference became a stabilizing and a pacifying factor in a treatment which declined into many undesirable effects, such as excessive acting out, etc. This perception was enabled by our theoretical frame of reference that includes psychoanalytical concepts such as the subject.

Keywords : Stabilization; Psychoses; Transference; Passing out the act; Mental health.
