This paper discusses the therapeutic accompaniment as part of the psycho-analytical treatment management technique of a patient who had not reached the state of whole person. The establishment of holding in the analytical process and in all stages of the therapeutic accompaniment was a crucial condition for the occurrence of constitutive experiences. The whole process was set up in synchronicity with the patient’s needs as well as systematized according to his rhythm. The setting is flexible and the goals of the therapeutic accompanier are modified as needed along the process. The therapeutic process is analyzed based on the theoretical framework of D. Winnicott and G. Safra.
