Abstract

ROCHA, Zeferino. The structural approach of depression: freudians contributions. Psyche (Sao Paulo) [online]. 2008, vol.12, n.23. ISSN 1415-1138.

The objective of the present essay is to bring a contribution for the psychoanalytic study of the several clinical forms of depression. Making the structure psychoanalytic concept a fundamental methodological reference, the author highlights, from his lecture of the freudian text, the indispensable key-elements for the psychogenetic comprehension and the metapsychological statute of the principal clinical forms of depression, that means, the neurotic depression, the melancholic depression and the borderline depression.
