Abstract

DORADO, Rafael de Castro  and  CARREIRA, Alessandra Fernandes. The transfer, the analyst and the anguish. Estilos clin. [online]. 2014, vol.19, n.1, pp.111-127. ISSN 1415-7128.

This paper approaches the emergence of anguish in the analyst in a case of psychoanalysis with children. Lacan (2005) shows that is not uncommon the analyst be taken by anguish when he is in contact with his patient. The question raised is: what happens? It is not our aim respond or finalize this question, but, based on a clinical case, read between the lines what is at stake in the analysis and, therefore, reflect about the transference emergence as co-related to the anguish emergence. In the clinical case in question, the analyst who receives the patient utilizes the interpretation to manage a negative transference. The transfer is the field where the analyst operates, and it is in this field that the analyst, leaving their function, becomes a subject affected by anguish. At this moment, of emergence of the anguish, will be shown how the analyst utilizes tactics to return to the function of cause by doing semblance of object.

Keywords : transfer; analyst; anguish.
