This research has the objective to identify and compare the value system to work in a group of traffic policemen, according sex. The sample was made up of 203 policemen between men and women, whose average age was 34 years. The instrument used was the scale of values towards work. The data were analyzed by distributing frequency and percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Student’s t and Cohen’s d. We conclude that the two main groups of values were: selftrascendence and Openness to Change. Women are located at an average level in all areas, but there is a higher percentage in Openness to change. Men have a higher score at all scales; although differences are not significant.
