Abstract

BATISTA, Cássia Beatriz  and  ANDRADE, Valéria S. Freire de. Integrated education and learning spaces: dialogues between school and social project. Gerais, Rev. Interinst. Psicol. [online]. 2010, vol.3, n.1, pp.02-11. ISSN 1983-8220.

Socio-educational projects include educational experiences as a complement to the actions of mainstream teaching. This theoretical study arises from a challenge before the partnership experience between public schools (formal education) and social projects, by means of the program called Integrated School. We start from the uneasiness observed in this educational experience so that we can discuss the idea of full education which is the basis of some educational actions. To support this discussion, we turn to the fields of social psychology and education, focusing on an articulate comprehension of the dimensions of the culture, of the education, and of the learning process in its multiple educational spaces. Therefore, we aim to discuss some educational concepts involved in practices stemming from these institutions, as well as their possible limitations and contributions to the full education of individuals.

Keywords : Education; Schools; Projects; Social Psychology.
