Abstract

HERNANDES, Maria Luiza Azôr  and  SOUSA, Alline Alves de. Job satisfaction and challenges found in organizational psychologists in private organizations. Gerais, Rev. Interinst. Psicol. [online]. 2015, vol.8, n.2, pp.359-372. ISSN 1983-8220.

This qualitative methodological study aimed to investigate the psychologists' understanding about the performed activities in the field of Organizational Psychology and Work in private organizations as to the factors related to job satisfaction and the main challenges encountered at work. The sample was composed of 16 professionals from 11 private organizations in Uberaba-Minas Gerais. The response data as for satisfaction factors were categorized, and the interpersonal relationship category was predominant. As for challenges, the organizational demands emerged as the most frequent category. In relation to dealing with challenges, resilience was the most common.
