Reviews addressing intervention programs dealing with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are necessary to provide knowledge about what have been taught and published in the academic context, providing guidance for future researches to replicate and extend what already is usual in literature, as well as to support investigations about procedures concerning new teaching targets behaviors. The objective of the present work was to conduct a systematic literature review about Brazilian papers addressing interventions with individuals suffering ASD. For this purpose, three databases were employed: LILACS, IndexPsi e Scielo, using the following keywords: "autism", "autism spectrum disorders", "pervasive development disorders", "teaching", and "intervention". As a result, four papers were found, covering the verbal behavior teaching experimentally, conducted with few subjects, predominantly of male gender, aged between five and eleven years, indicating the need for more efforts in this field of research in Brazil, devoted to interventions with this population.

Keywords : Autism Spectrum Disorders; Teaching; Intervention; Systematic literature review.
