PASTANA, Caroline Philipp and KLIPAN, Marcos Leandro. Female Homosexuality in Freudian Theory: Correlations with Femininity. Rev. Subj. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.1, pp.1-12. ISSN 2359-0769. https://doi.org/10.5020/23590777.rs.v21i1.e10926.
This historical-epistemological research proposes to understand the theoretical transformations on the subject of female homosexuality in Freud's work in order to apprehend the rationality of its elaboration and the theoretic changes on the importance of father and mother in the process of constituting sexuality, especially concerning female homosexuality and in correlation with femininity. For this, we examine the relevant texts in which Freud works on female homosexuality, correlating it with what he thought about leaving through the female route, pointing out its main characteristics, as well as the theoretical difficulties and impasses faced by the author.
Keywords : female homosexuality; psychoanalysis; sexuality; femininity; Oedipus complex.
